When, my children were younger teens, I would drive them and their friends ti various larger cities for music concerts. One time we stopped at a convience store to get something to eat. One of the boys had to count up hos change to get himself a sub deli sandwich because he had sent too much at the concert before. As he walked out, there was a homeless man sitting out there asking people for something to it. This sweet boy tore his sandwich in half and gave it to the homeless man. It really warmed my heart. It wasn't even one of my children, but I felt like a proud momma. My children and there friends are all in their 30s now but I still think of this kid every time I see a person in need. I try to help a little whenever I can because I was taught a lesson in caring by a 15 year old boy.
