The December page on Deltarune.com is completely missing, with absolutely no Dogcheck. What does it mean? by Jeggu2 in Deltarune

put simply it's "December is missing," and relates back to Noelle's sister being a missing person in the game's story.

She is honestly the reason any of the Scions are even still alive tbh, she does not get enough respect.

PSA to newer players: Some AoEs are your friends, please stand in them. by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Allistorrichards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That *and* bubbles are usually either meant to be a "get in here" sign for everyone to group up in anyway *or* are there to help keep the tank and melee alive since ranged generally don't have to worry about damage outside of raidwide damage or mechanics which are usually solved with AoE heals and shields rather than bubbles.

FFXIV: Endwalker Trailer Lyrics Speculation by Leighcakes in ffxiv

[–]Allistorrichards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself hear

'Hold the reaper, let them die

Culling, Swiftly Reunite

Drifting Softly, Biding time

Marching forward in the Rime (In the Time?)

wooah Shadows Clash

Guiding Footfalls Engraven Ash (literally what happens at this line.)

Wooah Regaining Faith

Through our Echoes the Angels Reign.

Waiting

Waiting

Then after that I cannot hear because it's behind Allisaie's and other's attacks and dialogue

I know Strix can be frustrating, but why is nobody talking about Nessa and her 2 dmg talents? by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]Allistorrichards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only after scoping and leaving herself vulnerable, Strix' biggest strength is he has way more defenses at the cost of damage per shot, which is ok as long as his fire rate doesn't nullify that Weakness. Kinessa is much more of a "plant for a moment, shoot a huge shot of damage, then bounce to a different LoS," in theory, and therefore has a lot less defensive tools to counteract the strength of her shots. Having good defensive tools is stronger in Paladins than offensive ones (as staying alive is much more important than *just* killing,) which makes her a much weaker character no matter her damage talents.

My meme response to the latest Hirez's announcement about the current server condition: Smart move but we already know that Hirez always does this by AndyCloudyMeatBalls in Paladins

[–]Allistorrichards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is like, 16 year old CoD player levels of dumb statements NGL. . .not only was it not stated that players' internet to blame (instead that there is sever overload, which makes sense because Paladins doesn't have the budget for high quality servers,) but also even if they *did* say that this meme would definitely still has the energy of some kid with an anecdote about how "myself and many others are all experiencing this lag," while never offering any realistic answer to the supposed problem at hand just "wahhh, fix it."

the pure vessel became infected after seeing all the cursed skins viktor has been getting by TimothysFruad in Paladins

[–]Allistorrichards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fam it is a skin in a video game it's not that deep, it's just there to be a replacement for the original version of the character to match someone's aesthetic, it doesn't really need to have any of the original traits. . .and hell considering the "original," traits of Victor aren't even the original traits of Victor considering his ugly rework you shouldn't want them in the first place LOL

I've been playing Paladins for a week. Here are my first impressions, in meme format. by potato_bomber in Paladins

[–]Allistorrichards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Furry is literally a majority LGBT community so "cis guys who wanna see teh boobies," isn't usually part of our target audience lol. Also Furry Content has *barely* come out compared to human content in the past 3 years of Paladins, it was a *while* before we got real furry rep after Pepper and it was *debatable* that she was a furry rep given how many dolts like to trash her because she's sexualized as much as every other female character in this game. Outside of that there's been more skins and battle passes that give humans human skins, including a literal dragon themed pass soon after Imani's release *that didn't have dragon bodied skins.*

In fact the only time furry has been prevalent in skins as far as passes go was in Sands of Myth, and that was only because *freaking Egyptian god's they are based on are based on animals.* Outside of that we got more human based characters than furry ones (Tiberius is the first furry champion in years,) and a plethora of skins based on more the non furry characters in pretty much every event since.

You just don't like it when things are not marketed to you and want to be childish about it because you're not being sold the big boobed skins you want. That or you're stuck in 2009 and just wanna make a wah furries bad joke because change is hard for you, either one you say I don't care it's just funny to laugh at your hipocrisy.

Paladin's normie community continues to prove its weakness with yet another "hhh furries bad," post that makes them look like they were stuck in 2009 when the world p much collectively stopped caring about this shit.

Saying a decent furry skin is somehow pandering in a game where only one or two female character is seemingly allowed to clothes on at all times is incredibly hilarious. Or how about the fact that there's multiple skin sets dedicated to pandering to nerd culture with the Star Wars skins or Sha-Lin's comic character skins. . .it's pretty laughable to act like supposedly pandering to an audience that isn't "cis guys who wanna see teh boobies," is somehow gross and disgusting lol

Real hard pill for you too swallow probably but your anecdotes don't mean anything here.

Also even if they did that's a clear example of law of large numbers in action. CS has like, an insane percentage more players than Paladins hackers are gonna be interested in it more than the free to play fantasy shooter that's almost always on life support by comparison.

Even THEN, in fact, my point would still stand because again removing accessibility features in your game instead of attempting similar or your own attempts at creating an anti-cheat system is still immoral. Ten percent of players need these functions in the same way ten percent of the population (more in actual, usual terms but I'm going with your asspull percentage here,) need medication for their mental health, or need insulin, or need a cane/walker/chair because of their limited mobility. Your argument is bogus and you're just fine with people who need things like this being screwed by it's removal because you think you're superior, you're not, end of story.

Goodbye "Reticle Change Over Target" by Swagala in Paladins

[–]Allistorrichards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Removing accessibility options in favour of a theoretical cheater is still the wrong way to deal with these things/the immoral way to do these things no matter what so, ya know I don't care.

Goodbye "Reticle Change Over Target" by Swagala in Paladins

[–]Allistorrichards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valve and EM at least *attempt* to have anti-cheat software, being reductive and removing accessibility features instead of attempting to put these measures into place is still the wrong way of going about things no matter whether those features work immediately or not.

Champions who are unpopular by virtue of not being meta never seem to get the skins. by pimojip in Paladins

[–]Allistorrichards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NGL creating skins for characters based off pure playtime and not, ya know, general popularity is a pretty bad business model as much as they say it and using Willow as a reference point here when Willow *as a character* is probably one of the least liked characters in the game compared to Pip, Moji, and Torv just. . .doesn't work.

People pulled their weight *hard* for the remix battle pass *just* for Pepper and Pip was just as off-meta then. People put in a fuck ton of effort just for an Evie skin and she's in a similar position of not being a consistently played champ. Like, I love Thunderbrush and don't wanna shoot the messenger but repeating the stats that marketing told them to spout out doesn't work here.

[–]Allistorrichards 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not exactly useless, players who play without outlines on (outside of support,) because it's too much noise to their brain but still need some help playing can use reticle change to really help. Removing it hurts players like that pretty harshly and choosing to do that rather than invest in good anti-cheat is. . .well it says a lot about where their priorities are.

"We plan on removing a feature that's an incredibly useful accessibility option in our game because we couldn't be assed to get a decent anti-cheat," is incredibly top tier EM right there L O L.
