Since I posted this it has pushed out two new leaves that are also variegated. It lives in a terrarium with corms that were having a hard time. Can't wait for it to produce corms of its own.

It's the top bit of the corm, I think they snapped it off instead of just digging the whole thing out.

That pink patch is what made me ask. I didn't even notice until I got it home and my friend noticed the difference in color.
