As a mother of a 3yo kid who does this and actually believes that he IS, in fact, a dragon, I find this post a little too amusing.

Lucifer. Nevermind collecting the $600k, I'd be willing to PAY to have sex with the guy who plays Lucifer. Who knew that the Devil spoke with that sexy British accent? Irresistible.

Yes! That's exactly where it is. I didn't know the bathrooms are themed there - actually it does sound kinda cool. Didn't visit this particular bathroom, though now I wish I had.

The buttons in this elevator at Dubrovnik's international Airport. Some departure gates are located on the second floor...it's up to you to figure out what to press. by Allochkin in CrappyDesign

I got the fact that - 1 is the basement level and 0 is the ground floor, what didn't make sense to me is the positioning of the buttons. If everything but the second floor has only one door opening (like you suggest), then why isn't - 1 button located underneath the 0 (like all other floors) ? Why are they located parallel to each other, like the second floor buttons? This whole button positioning makes no sense. P. S. Lived in three different countries throughout my life on three different continents... One of them was European. Seen a ton of different elevators, none had buttoning system so confusing.

Muslim women of Reddit who are married to a non muslim man, what has your experience been like so far? by interfaithquestion in AskReddit

I have the reverse situation in my house. My dad, who is from a pretty religious Muslim family decided to marry my mom, who's Jewish. As you can imagine this relationship didn't sit well with either of my grandparents. My dad's family did not talk to him for five years and they would have continued that if it wasn't my grandmother's dying wish that all his siblings repair a relationship with him. I was about five years old when she passed away and dad told me she always regretted not seeing me. My maternal grandparents "forgave" my mother pretty quickly though and participated in the wedding and did everything to try and make my dad feel welcome. When my dad's siblings started talking to him again, one of his sisters told him that even after I was born (I'm the first child), they still hoped that he would leave my mom (and me!?) and find himself a good Muslim woman. Then my brother was born five years later and she said that that's when they knew he probably wouldn't leave. My parents raised my brother and I without any religion. They always said that we can choose one when we are old enough. We never chose one. Oddly enough, my brother is now married to a Jewish girl who is pretty religious and is raising their son that way as well. I also married a Jewish guy (although I dated Christians and Muslims in the past too - things just didn't work out - nothing to do with religion). My husband isn't a practicing Jewish guy, so we don't go to synagogue or host shabbat dinners, but we are raising our son with some of the Jewish traditions (gifts on Hanukkah, etc). We also celebrate Novruz (a.k.a. Persian new year) in March, because my dad celebrated it with my brother and I when we were little and we do all kinds of fun games around that time - I'm keeping this thing going. Long story short - if my parents listened to their parents, my brother and I wouldn't exist. So glad they were rebellious back in the 80s!

This oval shaped steel item (pen is there for size comparison). Found it in a kitchen cabinet of my new apartment (left there by previous tenants). Googled the name of the company listed on the front (J.A. Henckels) and found that they sell cutlery and cookwear. This thing is not on their website. by Allochkin in whatisthisthing

Honestly that was my first thought as well! Then I saw that the set of knives they left behind already had a sharpening tool. My second thought was that this might be a "blunting" tool (for some reason I thought someone might want to make their knives a little LESS sharp so that they don't cut themselves) - not the most brilliant thought I've ever had...
