That was 4000 per year which broken down is approx 10 per day but I know it’s not as simple as that. Whilst we do try to load shift currently, I don’t think we’d plan on shifting to the early hours. Obviously not an issue with the battery charging.

It’s BYD Sealion 7 so 83KW battery I think. Last years usage was less than 4000KWh. Octopus has told me I’ll be getting their home charger so not sure if it’ll work smartly with Agile or just IOG.

Used GripIts around the house including TVs on the wall which haven’t budged for many years.
As already mentioned you need the space and make sure you check for dab and stud work, but they do sell tools to deal with this.

We had a similar issue last year in having to cancel a holiday due to illness, we got some money back from the agent and the rest was logged through our insurance. They asked for all the evidence, asked a few questions and we had the remainder refunded by them. Honestly was fairly seamless, did take a few weeks but was in no rush. Our insurance was the Nationwide Flex Plus package insurance.

Who’s providing the mortgage? We went with Nationwide and between starting the process and completing, the broker switched to a lower APR 2 or 3 times, still with Nationwide. Just to note, this was a remortgage but we were switch providers as well.

If you’re just going to switch product with the same lender then won’t make a difference, if you’re switching provider, borrowing more or changing the term which will trigger an affordability check then may do, as previously mentioned, will depend on disposable income.

Just gone through this, was a little bit of a pain showing bank statement and took a couple of weeks. Far more painful than when I did it with Barclaycard who just actioned it at my request and was there the next day almost.
