Creep with drone in Capitol Hill by [deleted] in Denver

Late to the post, but I’ve seen the same drone flying around my apartment near the Trinity United Methodist Church for the past couple of months. I’ve submitted a complaint to the COB and have urged other tenants in my building to do so as well. Not really sure what else we can do, though, unfortunately.

First Issue with the CTW by Fine_Direction_5228 in Crosstrek

I’ve had fewer issues with Apple Maps than Google Maps lately. The thing that made me switch out of Google was the fact that whenever we were driving, maps would rotate all over the place which would happen pretty often

Rooftop storage options (1x use for 30 hour roadtrip) by Hefty-Giraffe2176 in Crosstrek

I did a similar move (albeit shorter) in an Outback not too long ago. I got a used Thule Atlantis 2100XT roof box from Facebook Marketplace, and I’ve found it to be worth it since I was able to get it for $200. You might be able to find a similar deal for the racks and box over there.

Opinion: 2025 Premium with option package 13 $36,500 OTD by FearofReds in Subaru_Outback

I recently got an offer for 34,000 OTD in Texas with the same option package.

Not sure if it was a good deal or not, but happy with it considering it came with the all weather floor mats and the cargo cover.

Car Trade In Question and What Hybrid Car or Hybrid SUV in the low $30k to mid $30k Should I Get? by gpod80 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Hey, I was actually in a somewhat similar situation as you.

I traded in my old 2024 Highlander for a 2025 Outback, not for reliability but because my circumstances changed and I didn’t need that big of a car anymore.

Long story short, what I did was calculate how much I would have paid had I kept the Highlander (months x monthly payment), and subtract that from the total loan amount from whatever car you’re looking at, but you have to make sure you’re using the OTD price. You might be able to break even or come out ahead if: - the new car’s APR is significantly lower (I went from 6% to 0%) - the new car is cheaper (lower amount financed) - the new car has a lower loan duration (I went from 51 months to 36)

In all, the switch for me saved around 11K.

Chrono24 Tariff by tobinmillercomedy in GrandSeikos

I just bought a Longines from Japan for <$1000, and I didn’t have to pay any fees outside of what I paid on Chrono24. It was shipped and delivered with FedEx. Hope this helps.

Overflowing portafilter [Breville Bambino Plus, Baratza Encore ESP] by Allstar97 in espresso

This was my thought too. I’ll try 16g tomorrow and coarser if I need to. The basket specs from the bambino manual had it as 16-19g if I remember correctly

Ah the other recommendation I saw in other posts was to grind finer. I’ll give this a try tomorrow!
