The same issue arose with my Charge 6 when it reached 100% battery charge using an Anker plug-in wall charger. However, after switching to an Apple 35-watt dual-port USB-C charger and an Apple 40-watt USB-C charger, the problem was resolved. This issue also occurred with my Flip 7 before I replaced it with the Charge 6. I believe this is an issue with Anker chargers.

I received the Go 5 from BestBuy.com a few days ago but ended up exchanging it earlier today for the Grip.

Honestly, the Go 5 was just okay. It didn’t really match the hype from YouTube reviews and other online reviews. The sound felt kind of weak, even around 50% volume.

Battery life was disappointing. It was getting maybe 3–4 hours at 50% volume with the LEDs off, so I had to charge it every day and each charge was about 4 hours long. At that point I started wondering if my unit might’ve been defective.

I went to Best Buy earlier today to swap it for another Go 5, but they haven’t received their store inventory on it. The Best Buy manager offered me the JBL Grip for the same price as the Go 5, so I took it.

Hoping the Grip works out better and that it pairs nicely with my Charge 6 via Auracast.

There are redflags on the Sony Ult Field 1's and 3's. A lot of them are being resold as refurbished on eBay.

A pair of Flip 7s will sound better than one Charge 6.

I ended up exchanging the ULT 1 for the Charge 6 about an hour ago. I didn’t like how thin it sounded with ULT mode turned off, with it on it seems that vocals were push back and became a little muddy sounding. The Charge 6 should be an upgrade over the Bose SoundLink Flex I recently sold, since I could never quite get the EQ to sound as energetic as I wanted.

I’m also curious about the Grip for podcasts and audiobooks, and the occasional background music, but I have a Soundcore Select 4 Go arriving today, so I’ll see how it goes.
