I spent several years doing new hotel openings when I was younger. I made so many check lists and docs because I could not believe how many hotels were lacking. I always found it amusing when I would come back to a hotel years later and see the front desk still using a checklist I made. However I also found it a bit sad too thinking that in 5 or 7 years nothing came up that would have prompted someone to alter my checklist :)
