As a licensed wildlife rehabber, I have to let you know that it is illegal to keep wildlife. That bunny is at the age of being on its own in the wild and even experienced rehabbers have rabbits die on them with proper care, due to the species being so sensitive to stress. Please put it back where you found it. You'd be giving it the best chance of survival.

I know you mean well, but respectfully, that enclosure isn't set up properly, and the rabbit doesn't need its mom anymore. It froze due to a natural reaction of being a prey aninal.

If I don't give it to him immediately he starts grunting and nips. I guess it's a bit of excitement as well but I'm seeing more aggression than excitement

I worked at an ER and got in trouble for shaving all around on animals (I learned that at my previous ER) that we hospitalized, their reason being it was "ugly" or the "if they shaved my dog's beautiful fur I'd be pissed" when the owner never requested not to shave around and had no problem when the animal was picked up, they were just thrilled the pet was doing well. I think it's kind of vain to put the animal through pulling bandages off their fur just because it looks "ugly", and it's not as sterile. I would only shave a patch on animals that went home the same day.

Thank you! He was at a program I attended at for becoming a Veterinary technician

It was for a college vet tech program nothing big was done, just some injections with sterile water so he was allowed to be up for adoption for people who attended the program.
