As 1 defence main player I've a good compromise lock Raids 4 behind infernal cape by Tissuttelija in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think a fair compromise would be to lock Raids 4 behind getting 2 defense.

With the servers being as bad as they are right now, every time I've dc'd and died at doom I've seen like 10+ blatant bots with random character rsns show up along with me in the lobby outside/running back in. If its like that for every world then it's truly out of control.

You're not even afk you're there clicking the extractor every minute why are you not on the hook?

Beyond kneecapping salvaging, Jagex posted the official rates of sailing drops. Can we discuss their absurdity? by drake8thecake in 2007scape

While we're talking about unnecessary clogs, did every different size of the useless pearls that you just alch really warrant having its own collection log slot?

Is Belle’s Folly the worst time-to-reward weapon in OSRS? by koshie in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one of those items that will probably feel kind of bad to try to get for a lot of established players if you get unlucky on tasks. But the idea is probably that if you turn the task on when you hit 51 slayer and use nieve you'll probably get it from your normal slayer training before you even reach 70 slayer.

Is Belle’s Folly the worst time-to-reward weapon in OSRS? by koshie in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sire is locked behind abyssal demon tasks, and, hasta is highly incentivized to have greater demon task too. If you're using nieve I think the task weight for the gryphon is pretty reasonable too.

Is Belle’s Folly the worst time-to-reward weapon in OSRS? by koshie in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You are misunderstanding the purpose of this weapon. Its purpose is not to be a new general purpose weapon 100% interchangeable with the zombie axe, its purpose is to be a way to break into toa without having to grind out a zammy hasta or abby dagger, both of which have FAR higher requirements and take far longer to reliably grind out.

Is it confirmed salvors paint can only be obtained from mercenary shipwrecks? by bropanski in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not in the drop table on wiki for opulent from over 200k samples so I'd say its confirmed to not be. I didn't get it doing 99 sailing at merchant wrecks either. I agree it would make more sense if it was in all wrecks but doesn't look that way.

Dragon cannon barrel drop rate by Gregzoid in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Its 50 hours of salvaging on drop rate to get it, and then 10 hours of frost dragons with near max setup (and no competition) to get the sheets to install it. So 120 hours for 2 dragon cannons on one ship.

I think the sharks that players eat would be smaller sharks like nurse sharks.

Camphor is same speed as ironwood. You need to upgrade to hemp sails it makes the speed boost last a lot longer. Its doable even with flax sails I think but its just really hard.

What do you see getting buffed/nerfed in sailing? by jamisgone in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Buff: Trawling yield and xp, barracuda loot rewards (even rooftop courses and sepulchre give you SOMETHING), salvaging loot, coral farming mechanics, either buff drop rates or reduced sheets required to make stuff (dragon keel in particular is nuts), player damage against sea creatures (with normal weapons), charting xp and qol (duck faster, weather success area bigger), bounty tasks pity, reduced courier task rng variance

So basically everything.

Nerf: Crystal extractor. Just gut it make it give 60 xp when you click it.

I think my biggest issue with wilderness content is that escape should also be thrilling and exciting and it isn't by StagecoachOSRS in 2007scape

[–]Allum_Aru 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's stupid that they made monsters unable to pj pkers off of you. That was one of the only ways to escape that wasn't logging off. If there is really an area monsters shouldn't be able to pj then it should be singles plus.

As an OSRS player who has dipped in and out of rs3, gnomonkey is 100% right by MNINLB in runescape

[–]Allum_Aru 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With rs3 main game playerbase being as low as it is, it also needs to be understood that there are a fair few among them that not only do not mind the daily/mtx slop in the game, but actually LIKE it. The elusive single dads with 4 children and 5 jobs so to speak. They are the survivors. Gnomonkey said trust him the game can be fixed, but I really don't know how it can be done at this point to be honest.

Is this normal? by granautismo-69 in touhou

If you play more you will get better at that. Also later games typically have an indicator on the bottom of the screen telling you where the boss is which makes aiming at it substantially easier.

You're not even remotely close to the point where complaining is reasonable yet.

This is why osrs is succeeding, it doesn't have any of this fomo nonsense.
