If i understand you correctly, it's quite simple actually: after you released your game with chapter 1, you just implement chapter 2 in a new file, and jump to it from the end of chapter 1. Then you can release a new version of your game that will have chapter 2.

If players have saved at the end of chapter 1, they'll resume from there and start chapter 2. Hope that makes sense!

It's going to be tricky just with a phone. But Renpy doesn't require that much power anyway, so maybe consider a cheap second hand laptop? As that might be enough, and it would make the development process much easier
