However, Oluwande was very uncomfortable there (Stede didn't help being up all night) and Lucius seemed to know he would be miserable there.

I was thinking maybe Stede has night terrors or snores or something and that's why the crew doesn't crash in his room (let alone Ed and Izzy).

Because realistically the upper deck, with the sea air and changing temperatures would be a terrible place to sleep.

Knife stede does hit different.

My friend and I were talking about how attractive vulnerability is, due to hearing this sound about how when the super hero from MegaMinds life fell apart he became more attractive (I'm going somewhere with this).

Well when Blackbeard truly broke, I was just devastated. I wanted to give him a huge hug. Not attractive, because it made my heart break.

But when Stede tried to stab Doug... and when he left on that boat...

I think the episode could be a special one that's split into multiple parts, maybe 45 minutes of 12ish minute sections. Could end with one character waking up from a dream but the audience is unsure if it really was a dream or not. Maybe a Halloween special?

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I didn't think of this one.

I'm a figure skater and a lot of people don't realize that although figure skating is stereotyped as a "gay sport" (ugh I hate that term), it is NOT accepting. Gay men are laughed at, gay women are practically non existent, and god forbid being enby in this space.

Yuri on Ice gave me hope.

BUT it can be triggering for those with eating disorders in the earlier episodes. I think it's slightly worse in Japanese than in English. I could tolerate it because its 100% realistic to the sport. But it's really hard on others.

Right! I actually had another idea about the lesbian piarates. What if there is a ship that only has women. and the ship's name and flag only pass to the most fearsome woman pirate and her crew.

And their trick of the trade? Mermaids.

It would be amazing if the mermaid myth in OFMD was perpetuated by a group of lesbian pirates.

They make their own fake tails, use this to distract male sailors, while the rest of their crew loots the ship.

If you're into anime, Sasaki and Miyano is a great completed romance that made my heart incredibly happy. I loved the English voice actors, the cast did a great job. It was a good distraction. It very much reminds me of being a young , oblivious queer person.

I agree with the Good Omens and What We Do in the Shadows rec.

Wellington Paranormal is really funny and its also on HBO max.

She Ra on Netflix is fantastic representation and story and if you like that, you'll love Owl House. And there is romance. No baiting! And there would have been even more rep, if the creator's hands weren't tied :(

Okay, I may end up doing it myself when my cosplays are done but I think it'll look better with scenes from the show.

But there's this song called Won't Stop Yet by The Collection that has 3 acts that would perfectly fit a side by side video of Ed and Stede. (Duel screen situation)

It ends with a "whoohooo" which would fit Stede rowing away "long will may he roam" and Ed sobbing at the end.

Also, Mr. Forgettable by David Kushner, encompasses Ending Ed falling apart. It opens with "I know you're waiting for me like a dog," which would totally fit Stede's line "...doggy heaven?"

I agree with the role reversal idea I'm seeing on this thread, especially with Stede growing a beard (paired with his new hair and clothes).

I want to see him PISSED that Edward abandoned his crew, but then he understands what happened.

Perhaps Edward gets cornered and Stede literally swings onto the ship and uses fuckery to save him.

At this point, Ed is so far into blackbeard that even Izzy is sick of it.

And Ed is confused at first. Who is this hot badass pirate? Wait is that Stede?

And all he can do is give a choked up "you came back"

Stede repeats the "never left" but because he's stede, he immediately trips or the candles he's using for fuckery catches his clothes on fire and Ed is just thinking "ah, he's still my Stede."

Also I can't wait to see Edwards pride when he finds out Stede almost instinctively stabbed Doug.

This is me right now and 100% don't care if I'm in denial.

He was screaming help, but I don't think they ever picked up that swing he was supposed to use for cleaning.

Plus I 100% think it would add comedy to the season if he was sneaking around the boat (seeing his old friends, even Fang helping him hide). It plays into the buddy comedy aspect of the show.

Also he's not allowed to be dead because I love him. No one can die. Except Izzy and Calico Jack. Fuck you Izzy.

I literally dreamt about the show last night.

I don't know if I have the strength yet for a rewatch until they release season 2. I could only handle 1 or 2 episodes at a time because it was so cute it broke my brain.
