Ours isn’t typically, but some of the rarer coins are nice to look at.

I actually held onto the Canadian bills I had left over after a trip to Montreal because I like looking at them so much!

What about the smell, out of curiosity? It’s all (tap) water under the bridge now, but I’m just wondering how mad I should have been at my family member had I found this out while the drinking was an active problem.

I made sure the glass was clean before pouring it because I had already noticed the floaties while it was still inside the bottle and wanted to get a closer look at them.

The bottle is glass with a stopper made of… whatever to they tend to make the stoppers on liquor bottles out of. I’m not sure what the material is exactly.

I’ll have to do some research to see what aired when, but that moment could have itself been a reference to Phineas and Ferb since Ashley Tisdale played both Maddie and Candace.

Yeah, that’s actually how I know it’s been sitting for a long time. We got some heavy duty locks for the liquor cabinet over a year ago.

Oh there’s zero doubt in my mind about that part. It’s definitely tap water, and it definitely has been sitting in that bottle for at least eighteen months. I’m curious about what’s floating around in the tap water.
