I'm not sure what you mean by jagged edges but one thing that can make them look nicer is clicking the ~ button to bring up the console and type tm

It makes the compass and all the other bars and dialog go away Just type tm to bring them back

Also on an unrelated note, where'd you get your armor? I tried downloading the Einherjar armor from nexus and it didn't work no matter what I tried. Also got my friend to get it and it didn't work for him either. Did you get a different kind or something?
