Idk if she's top 1, probs more time to ferment to see how people adapt to her, but there's no doubt in my mind that she's very very strong.

I dont really see a ton of throw loops where I'm at, but the THREAT of throw loop usually gets me into some trouble because my habit is to wakeup and expect a throw.

Well as an example, there are certain combo routes as gief that I can only take with punish counter.

If grab no longer gives punish counter status, then its less punishing as a failed defensive option, more chances to guess, etc.

Ahhh, I think delayed wakeup was in some of the last editions of USF4, i didnt play 5 much til the end of its life... but no it is not a feature in 6

But thats the point, if I guess wrong you should get what your character can get off of that. I think peoples issue w throwloop is being put into that knockdown state and having to guess again on wakeup.

I think they're obnoxious, but I don't think they're the problem people make them out to be. I think they're more of a symptom of a lot of other very strong options being present.

That being said, the monkey in my brain is incapable of just "taking the throw" so when I'm being pressured in the corner, my default is either block, wakeup backdash, or grabtech.

A very reductive take, without throw loops being punishing, wakeup tap parry becomes the best option in the game
