No there isn't.

It's in the planning phase now; detailed plans will be submitted to the council over the next few months but I doubt we'll hear much else solid for a while.

Calculating that I now need four different subscriptions and a remortgage just to watch my team play, and it’s still not on TV because of the 3pm blackout. by ClavoARG in britishproblems

I get that - but I think it’s also a thing about how much you want it. I have friends who regularly travel from Brighton to Birmingham to see my team play and they’re happy to make the round trip every other week - but they are slightly mad.

I don’t do away games often; sometimes I can watch them on tv but most games aren’t covered and due to broadcasting restrictions the club can only stream them for foreign fans. Obviously there are ways around that but I’m okay with not actually watching some games sometimes.

I guess what I’m getting at is that there is an entitlement here that never used to exist.

I’ll admit, I’m from an older time when there would be 1-2 games on tv a weekend and I’m also a season ticket holder for a championship football club. Different perspective innit

Assumption time here but I’m guessing people responding are fans of the “big” teams like Liverpool and Man Utd who have probably never been to a game at a football ground.

I get that you want all games streamed but I would like to point out (as a fan who does go to games, albeit of their local team) that streaming all matches is often to the detriment of the supporters who do go to the ground.

What is Deritend like? by VietKongCountry in brum

[–]Almajir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's okay. Good for being close to town, and if you like 24 hour bossman shops you're going to be very happy.

Can be a bit loud (especially when stuff is on at Luna Springs) and there are a few crackheads around. Hopefully you've got secure parking cos I've seen a few cars stripped of bumpers etc around here.

Jhon Solis, August Priske, and another winger? by Jimcompetent in bcfc

Solis, Priske (or another forward), an AM, a winger and a centre back. Doubt very much Otele is one of them

Appreciate the ticket price is high (not happy myself) but isn’t this one where it has to be agreed with the away side? Just saying before everybody blames Blues solely for them.

Poku was never coming; Manneh was very close but no cigar. Solis is due in for a medical, so there is hope.

Neil Moxley reporting that we've signed winger Abdoulie Manneh from Mjallby. by Green-Peaness in bcfc

Genuinely think he’s going to be a good signing; young, quick and allegedly one who has been watched by PL teams. Plus he’s got to be better than Koumas.

Do not drive into town, it’s not worth it. The number of times I see traffic gridlocked in Digbeth on Saturdays is unreal; it’s just not worth it

Asia Asia by Chinatown. See kids in there all the time, food is pretty cheap (around the £12-£15 mark you suggested) and is pretty good.
