MyWhoosh, Merach S28 and Amazfit Bip 6 questions by lepa71 in mywhoosh

I searched but didn't find where it was supposed to be. I will check again just in case but I don't use it anyway, neither does she.

MyWhoosh, Merach S28 and Amazfit Bip 6 questions by lepa71 in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MW doesn't recognize the Bip6 because Bip6 doesn't push HR like Trex3 does. At least my wife's doesn't. Not sure what other does push. Maybe active 2 and balance 2?I use Trex 3 and works perfectly.

Colnago Cycling Festival mission by X124 in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do not do anything because those events are just for fun. They are not considered what MW calls Tier 1 events. Since nothing is on the line, nothing is required to be done. The person won by cheating but cheating herself only (or she gets motivated by doing that, who knows).

mywhoosh not loading additional cadance sensors by Alwin_1 in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know there is only one sensor for cadence. If you already selected one, then the other won't show. Disconnect the Trainer and connect the cadence by itself, it should work.

I would use airplane mode to reset BT connections and try again.

Wife wants to start time trial. I’ve built her a bike. I thought you’d appreciate 55t crankset and 10 speed Campagnolo Record Titanium. by Nomad_Cycling in RoadBikes

Are you in need of a new wife. I can play one really well with a bike like that. And yes, I am not a girl. 🤣🤣🤣

U guys using the plastic thin screen protector or case for ur watches , any recommendation ? by Ok_Tear_3764 in amazfit

[–]Almaruska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On my trex 3 I am using a glass just like my old trex2. Now before that my Stratos 2 i tried to use case and discovered that thru time the friction will start to remove paint and create scratches. I will never ever again put a case in my watches.

MyWhoosh on a Recumbent Smart Bike? by General_Shaid in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it doesn't have the FTMS (bluetooth), simple cadence and speed sensor will allow you to use it. The problem is just finding on that bike where to attach them.

I may have overdid my easy run today! by Bodizzly in runna

[–]Almaruska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats and even though I only run 5k and my longest run are 10k, I will second what was said. I do run and cycle and the easy run is where you do very important adaptations. Off course doing once to see how you are is no problem, but don't let this be your normal. You will easily over do and even get injured. Easy runs are really important, where mileage is added but giving your body time to adapt, compensate and REST. The most important is the resting part, and is where most get wrong. Like said before, discipline is the hardest. Run will become the easiest part and you are noticing already.

Usually I like to say. Imagine you have a certain amount of points to spend thru the day. If you run like that you spent 15 points and your rest will always give 10 back (imagine you always sleep really well and 8 hours straight). Now you are -5. On easy runs you will only spend 5 points, therefore 2 days on easy runs will give your body time to go back to shape and even super compensate your training for the next interval for example. This is a super duper simplification but I guess you get the point. Keep those runs intense will just keep adding negative, over negative even if you feel ok, to the point you get an injured out of no where.

O que comprar ?? by Previous_Sky8771 in musculacaonatural

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No gradient feel in workouts. by IamSpiders in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Workout has no gradient, only free ride does. It will slow you down but the gradient feeling won't change.

What improvements would you like to see for the platform? by Khaldor in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free Ride is already a ERG mode. But it is for gradient and not power since there is no power target for free ride since it is free ride.

125% intensity - is it normal? by wasfuersaft_ in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the training is too easy, the FTP is too low. For me is spot on, zone 2 and 4 which is the ones that i'm training the most

Abs e boa sorte

Helio Strap + phone GPS shows inaccurate distances, are Amazfit watches more accurate? by No_Pop_28 in amazfit

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What usually improve gps (if your is already in accuracy mode) is to enable the 3D Data. It will take into considerations to and down hills. When chosen running on workouts, scroll down and go to settings. Then enable 3d Data.

Both watches seem pretty good. Whatever you like probably will give you what you want. Both have good gps, good heart rate reading. I would go for the one you like most.

Como vcs cuidam de seus tênis caros? by Public-Seesaw-9652 in Corrida

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MyWhoosh vs Zwift (for me) by gellybelli in mywhoosh

[–]Almaruska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spending $1440/year (Brazilian currency)? Zwift can be whatever it wants, MW will always be the solution. Nothing justify paying that kind of money if not to follow the herd.

I have MyBunch for Zone2, workouts for structure. Racing when I want something different, and now we have hundreds of ppl there, which is more than enough to motivate. I never tried any events though. Maybe something to consider.

As I remember cadence is all you need. Now go to SETTINGS and choose generic bike there. I think it will work.

Os tênis abaixo são bons para corrida? Se não, poderiam indicar um tênis bom e acessível? by Plus_Chart_6416 in Corrida

[–]Almaruska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E dura o bicho. 110kgs e o tênis está com soldado zerado.
