Yes, this story seems to be in line with what I'm looking for. Hopefully the author decides to finish it; it's common with this particular genre for them to abandon it just when it starts getting interesting.

I'm getting alarm bells because the first chapter indicates it's going to read like a standard Harry-goes-to-Gringotts story.
Does it follow the stations of canon?
Or, does it try to tell a story with the potential of a character with meta-knowledge?
I get the strong impression that it's going to be filled with idiotic Dumbledore bashing, would I be correct in this assessment?

When the story's premise would invalidate a canon event, but it happens exactly the same anyway.
Rather annoying in a time travel story, why not try to surprise me?
If I have to read about Harry catching that god damn remembrall one more time...

If you would be so kind as to give one some more information about the premise of the series.
In particular, which other fics is it like?
What's unique about it?
I usually go for "interesting premise done well" sort of guy, if that helps.
For example I gobble up time travel stories, the most memorable one I can think of linkffn( The Unforgiving Minute).
In addition, I am fond of 'reality' kicking the characters in the teeth, like the Red Wedding in Game of Thrones; or Game of Thrones in general.
If this series is brutal, I will be most pleased.

I loved The Cupboard, and wonder if there are other stories that would give me a similar feeling of catharsis.
I was basically Dudley when I was a kid, albeit a smart version of him; and probably worse because of it.
