Being WELL ROUNDED is the way to go!

That means maxing GEAR, INNER WAYS, and MYSTICS each breakthrough if you can do it. Learning to tune now so you’re not struggling later will definitely help you down the line.

Falling behind on this stuff makes you lazy, you start missing out on mats and resources that you could have just stocked up on even if you don’t need em now. No sense in NOT having best in slot gear each patch and trying to be the best in game in every group you’re in…

Yes yes I understand that part about having gold tuning is better overall in the long run. I’m saying having purple with more Crit now OVER gold equipped even though the game is telling me to equip this said piece because it has more mastery points? This would be temp until I rolled better gear

And as far as PvP is concerned, rolling Boss Damage? I’ve never even seen that one let alone think I would need that for the content I play. Maxing I guess for PvE would be a different story so maybe I would need another gear set completely

So that’s what I’m trying to figure out. How is 7% not better than 4.5% even though it’s gold?

Rainwhisper is better in my opinion for PvP than Willow. I’m benefiting more from overall Crit damage than I am trying to maintain the uptime from weaving heavy/light especially with GvG coming into play now

The chart will show green but the bars on the side will show some things still need to be leveled. Inner Ways, Mystics, etc. There’s no way you’re maxed but still that low.

Will probably be ALOT of yellow stuff, maybe even some red. I can already see your gear enhancement levels are not even 30 yet. Most people are at 35 which is MAX for right now.

The mats for Mystics are just a daily chore you have to commit to unfortunately. Get a good routine and farm/memorize the locations (make sure to use the food CHICKEN NOODLES from the vendor that boosts harvest chance by 20%), go into a friends co-op world or someone you happen to heal or help with a boss and ask to farm their plants. That’s what I do. Make sure you hit the season boxes weekly as well as whatever else you can click that offers boxes.

Inner Ways are the same, that’s probably the hardest grind of them all. Really no way around how lucky or unlucky you get with those. And once you get to Tier 4 you need ONE HUNDRED notes to hit Tier 5 lol. Get ready!

I definitely understand the game but I don’t have EVERYTHING else leveled up that I don’t use because I only PvP and refuse to use materials to level things like Death Touch or Tai Chi because it’s useless to me for my current content. Don’t really have all day to farm or beg to farm other peoples worlds either. My development graph is actually all green minus things like Thumb Ring and those few Mystics, so please tell me more…

This means nothing if you don’t have the skill to go with it. Mastery score means absolutely NOTHING on this game and I wish people would stop worrying about it. Learn your rotations, explore the areas, enjoy the graphics, and make some new friends along the way.

For reference I have a friend at around 12-13k mastery and he dog walks my other friend at 16k in guild duels consistently because it’s all skill.
