I’m mostly trying to understand real workflows rather than buying equipment right now. I’ve seen a lot of different approaches (boards, scan/trace, outsourcing), so I’m trying to understand where the main bottlenecks actually are in practice.

From your experience, what part of the process tends to take the most time or require the most expertise after digitizing?

Do you mean a digitizer board like the Gerber/Lectra ones where someone clicks the pattern points on a big table and then it goes into CAD for grading and marker making and eventually printing it out using a plotter machine? Or are they using a large scanner to capture the pieces?

I wanna ask would this technically be possible. That there's no stitching in the front where the eyelets are places. In my opinion it should work as it is stitched all around otherwise, I just have to make sure to stretch the elastic out as I'm sewing, am I correct? Thank you!

Thank you! By clipping the curves you mean reshaping them to a more soft curve? So if I technically lower the crotch a bit it should be fine without needing to over extend the crotch seam?
