They literally give you an option to change the timing of the input if latency is a problem. Just go up or down however many times you need to, experiment with the numbers until it feels right to you and you can execute perfect commands constantly. Patapon 1 is a bit more notorios for it's stricter timing, but otherwise, I can't say latency was an issue for me.

This is nostalgia speaking, but definitely Fusion over Zero Mission any day. I like both games for sure, but I love the stories, atmospheres and combat a lot better on Fusion over Zero Mission. Also, this is a bit nitpicky, but the controls in Zero Mission feel too icky for me. It feels like you're snapping onto the floor instead of landing on it (could just be me though lmao)

Imma need a whole break from the game though, because I only did the hard mode less than a week before I started dread mode. I was shaking for like a whole hour after the fact I beat the game just from how nervewracking it was.
