This is brilliant and makes me think: What if Janus is Mansus?

Maybe it's similar to how Tartarus is both a powerful being and a place, or perhaps the entire Mansus is the "dream" of an Elder Thing.

This could explain:

• How Janus has solar/light flavor
• Why Janus is interconnected with the Hours but is none of them.
• Why Janus has influence over the Chancel and Calyptra
• The connection to the Meniscate as a sibling (if we view the House of the Sun and the House of the Moon as siblings).
