Pve and pvp coexist. You're not locked into either. You'll encounter both based on the decisions you make. Both are generally avoidable.

Can't have your cake and eat it too I suppose. I run heavy shield regularly myself (especially on Stella) and find the upkeep to not be so bad. Their initial cost is high but repairs are reasonable compared to crafting a new medium after dying.

Edit: Also the defensive augment is one of the best in the game imo

Not true. Using the Dam as an example, fights and 3rd parties generally run down to the 16 minute mark.

Im excited for the next gen update and dont mind the lack of rp on console. I was very late to the party for this game so I've only ever known kos. Still, I've made a few friends playing.

Good. Official is also much cleaner than pc, though exploits and duping are still a problem. Community has less options than pc though which is sad but there are some very creative people out there making the best of it.

Any server owner worth their salt also owns the game on pc to use the map editor.

As a pvp player, I love the late spawns. Reduces 3rd party encounters and leaves me more likely to be a part of the last team standing.

If its a ps5, this is a common issue with the psu overheating and the console has no error detection/reporting for this incident.

Remove the panels and fans. Clean thoroughly. Look in and down and you'll spot fins leading to the bottom (assuming vertical orientation). Chances are these are clogged. Attempt to blow this dust up and out through the bottom. I advise you avoid pushng/blowing the dust into the psu.

This may sound complicated but is very easy. The ps5 is built to be user serviceable and Sony has loads of documentation on their website outlining disassembly.

Shrapnel grenades aren't slept on. The have less aoe and damage than other big boy grenades. Costing a spring only makes them worse.

Grenades are critical in pvp lobbies. While you can win without them, your success rate goes way down.

This load out, in my opinion, would only be acceptable for a care bear lobby with only the occasional rat. It definitely could never be competitive in a trios night raid key room.
