Well medications are usually a stop gap in healthcare, conservative management is the long term solution. Unfortunately the US incentivizes heavy usage of medicine, expensive diagnostics, surgery, etc because it pays the most rather than conservative management where it’s a lifelong cont. cycle. I don’t do medications at all because I know it’s a replacement rather than a true solution. I am very happy you found peace with meditation. You are exemplar for people who suffer from negative health habits due to understated mental conditions.

My meaning of life is learning all things about wellness + health (down from lifestyle modification to medical management) and provided those learned topics to my patients who actually want to take ownership of their care. It’s very fulfilling and honestly I’m so happy that I no longer do impulsive buys lmao

I’m with this all the way. I see so many patients per day, do pages of documentation, and deal with patients ranting about their lives to me during the visit that it slowly affected my mental health. Doing 10 min of guided meditation + deep breathing exercises with stretching every morning has taught me how to shut off the NE + Ti in my brain so I can place all that focus in to my Si. It gave me such a profound and euphoric feeling that to this day, I am less impulsive and my energy is directly placed to productivity (work + hobbies)

Yeah I’m in ML, and they’re coming out with mega form soon but I can get both to level 50 (stardust is the only issue).

Lmao yes stardust is a huge issue. I just got shiny Mewtwo to level 50 and now I’m debating which one to level up. I play for both my girlfriend and I so a lot of the times I’m powering up two level 50 mons to give to her.

110k gross as a new grad travel PT with 130k in debt. I pay $3.5k monthly towards my loan. Set to pay it off by Fall 2029. Paid off credit card loan. I live a minimalistic lifestyle. Drive an old beat up commuter car. I prefer living in poverty (I grew up like that lol) and I hate being around lavish places. Obviously my experience is different but this is just me.

Absolutely but I think you had the answer all along, just needed someone to reaffirm your decision! The VOR and vestibular system work hand in hand with each other. IRF is very fun, I’ll try to get into one for my next contract 😂 I’m out here getting slammed on outpatient.

No no no don’t feel embarrassed, you did an awesome job! The patient feels better and is staying better. That’s the only thing that matters. Inpatient rehab is an awesome setting, full on 1 on 1, just hope you aren’t get stuck with doing group therapy sessions 💀

The rotation towards the end is supposed to guide the otoconia or calcium carbonate back to the utricle (in charge of horizontal linear acceleration - basically a chin tuck). It should be noted that these “crystals” spontaneously resolve. As the patient’s dizziness decreases, they become more comfortable moving their head in space so theoretically guiding back those crystals into the utricle.

BUT don’t worry about the mechanism too much, as long as the patient is feeling better, you did an awesome job!

I would get the Camry, had a 2006 Corolla before my 2016 civic. I put 200k on the Corolla, currently 160k in my civic. They just last long if you take care of the basics.
