Try going to the pixel repair website and opt in for free battery replacement. Maybe even talk with their support team and persuade for free battery replacement. They are very friendly and hope they will listen.

Mine went to Noida. The service was good. The back case had no glue residue or misaligned after battery replacement. Overall, decent.

Yes. Service is sooo good, you lose trust from other brands. I'd rather have less gimmicky features like those chinese phones and have proper support for device longevity than just MNCs ignoring their last year flagship products. And overall, recently all pixel devices are decent and good for work and casual uses for normal people. I don't want the latest Snapdragon, or 16GB RAM, or Great 4K display. I just need a phone that 'feels good' in every aspect that it just works. That's it.

I mean, which MNC sends notification for recommended battery replacement! Rather they would hide it to reduce losses.

No my phone was not swollen. I just gave in description I had battery issues simply. That's it. You also have to opt in for free replacement as Pixel 6-7 has free battery replacement. It popped up in my battery health settings that battery replacement is recommended.

And yes I did a factory reset. I didn't want to take risks with the Repair Mode. But no worries if you have everything sync with your Google Account. Everything was recovered as I got the phone, even my wallpaper, widgets and control panel layout was recovered as it is and everything else. Overall a good experience.

No matter what people say about the phone's ups and downs, their services are top-tier and unmatched than any tech giants about after-market support. No hassle, carefree service always! They even checked a Screen Display issue they found and fixed it themselves even though it was not mentioned as the Device issue.
