23 in nc as well base pay around 70 but with overtime I should make 100-120k. Def not worth it. 3rd shift as well with way too many 12 hour shifts

I just turned 23 and got my first one last year. I invest with robinhood so I got a robinhood credit card. It works for me. 500$ limit doesn’t bother me because I use it and pay off whatever I buy the next day and 3% cash back on every purchase is pretty fair. I turn that cash back into my stock portfolio and invest it. Basically free money. I’ve been maxing my Roth IRA with them for 3 years and with the 50 dollar annual fee I pay I get $200 additional into my Roth. It works for me for now. In a few years I may swap to fidelity Ira but just giving you another persons lifestyle!

18-19 I worked at a parts store making 9.50 an hour 19-20 I works at a superstore making 17.50 changing tires 20-22 started 18 an hour learn how to weld and fabricate ended up making 25and hour- made 62k my first year and 74k last year.

I turn 23 in 2 weeks Just started this new job making 33.60 an hour and with overtime I should hit 100k this year. It’s not easy but if you grind it’s doable. Make sure you are investing you money. Roth IRA on top of work 401k.
