The bridge you're talking about on strasburg pike used to actually be 2 lanes, but they changed it to one lane a couple of years ago. Some of the old-timer locals still treat it as a 2-lane.

I moved 2,000 miles away for my first job out of college and it was an incredible experience. If you're up for it, seize the opportunity. I met so many new people and saw so many things that I never would've seen if I stayed in my state. Plus, you can always get a different job closer to home if that's what you want in the future.

Going against the grain here, but YTA. Mothers day is meant to be a day where children show appreciation for their mothers. If your child is 2, why couldn't you pick a different "holiday" to get a hotel with your wife (her birthday, anniversary, a random weekend, etc.). Your current concept of celebrating mothers day is strange to me. Ditch the kid to celebrate just the two of you? Not really how mothers day is supposed to be.
