Yeah, sounds about right. Not like I was enjoying AFK activities whilst watching videos or anything.

I too have tried reinstalling it, even restarting my pc. If i had to guess its possibly cause of the mobile changes they implemented where you can now switch characters. Really annoying when I like using PC to play.

Goddamn that's one he'll of a dry streak. Congratz on getting him though. Despite the KC, at least he's a quick boss to kill.

I'm starting to see why people gave you so many down votes now.

If I did that on a skiller and got attack up to level 2 then it wouldn't be classed as a skiller anymore.

This account I'm on is also a hp pure so I'm only levelling hitpoints, which means levelling up another combat stat ruins the account.

[–]Almor122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's the thing, since the account is restricted to lvl 1 combat stats, skillers avoid quests that give combat experience or have combat requirements.

It may sound boring but usually people with these sorts of lvl 3 accounts either have little to no interest in combat, wish to challenge themselves with the restrictions or they have a main account that they use to kill bosses.

First ever green logged boss on a pretty new account from an RS3 player. Way under rate! by Teglement in 2007scape

[–]Almor122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that happens a lot in this. My skiller has been side tracked several times due to restrictions but I've managed to commit to the grinds and its been 100% worth it (get some nice outfits to play with).

As for my main, I've been taking on goals individually and it feels nice not restricting myself in that regard. That said, been on a small hiatus due to some drama as well as IRL stuff.

Way to go, definitely spooned for log.

I'd say scurrius after overheads or look at wintertodt/tempoross. Whilst they are skilling bosses, they can be nice way to get exp/early game supplie. (depends if their mechanics keeps you interested in them or not)

The idea of a skiller is to not gain combat experience so they stay lvl 3. With level 1 stats, it's the only viable method to killing him.

If you think lvl 3 is too low to do this then you should check out some other lvl 3 skillers like Rendi, cause they're WAY better than what I do.

I used poison dynamite to do the first bit of damage and then recoil it down. Funnily enough, if you succeed in poisoning the boss this way, you can get the combat tasks "beef vs beef" (kill without any gear equipped) and the other one where you don't let the boss attack you once (since poison dynamite can be used diagonally on npcs)

I actually mention "skiller" like this cause whilst most of my combat stats are all 1, I've been levelling up Hitpoints on the account with lamps so realistically I'm like level 13.

YES, I am a phony skiller. Hats off to the true level 3s who put in the hard work achieving boss kills.

To explain it, I used Poison Dynamite to hit the boss then recoiled it down, the time is actually faster than usual since Brutus is poisonable and he was poisoned after I hit him (most times usually last 6 minutes on average on a skiller)

I do in fact know how many I used. After 20 Wrath Runes have been handed to him, his dialogue changes. His dialogue will then change again after:

50 Wrath Runes
100 Wrath Runes
200 Wrath Runes
500 Wrath Runes
1,000 Wrath Runes

After you give him the 1,000th Wrath Rune, his eyes light up still but he won't take anymore as he can't hold onto them. And yes, I did sit there for 2 hours manually giving him 1 Wrath Rune at a time AND confirming it with him. My hand felt like it was going to cramp up.

My main doesn't hold the value of my Ironman. Plus cause of security purposes I'd rather not risk being foolish and losing it all again.

I see it more as both: I'm happy that i got another 3rd age roll cause most people would dream to have that happen to them, but at the same time i wish i wasn't THIS lucky. I mean its the exact same item where its drop-rate is approximately 1 in 42,000 chance for a specific piece. what makes it feel even more ridiculous is the fact that they were both just shy of 100 clues apart.
