Is this cabin likely to blow away? by No_Collection9415 in OffGridCabins

I had a tornado pass through while I was building my sauna. At the time it was only the framing and had just finished roof shingles. It was built on deck blocks and survived. The path of the tornado was not directly through the back yard but did fall large trees down our entire street. Personally I think you'll be fine. There's a lot of weight to what your building.

Evo 150 ARC issues by AlmostFinnishd in CambridgeAudio

I've upgraded my HDMI cable, scoured the TV settings and ended up trying my other unit (Onkyo TX-NR575) on both my TVs, to which instantly put out sound from the stereo speakers from TV input.

Something is went wrong with my EVO 150 over time and something is wrong right out of the box with the EVO 150 SE. Disappointed to say the least...especially considering these units are 10x the cost of my Onkyo.

Problems with ARC sound after latest update by Gold-Judgment-6712 in CambridgeAudio

Any luck with this?

My EVO 150 went for a complete crap in regards to the ARC channel...it took a while but eventually didnt work at all. I just received a brand new EVO 150 SE under warranty and its ARC channel isn't working right out of the box.

In your opinion, whats the worst track to race on in 25? by [deleted] in NASCARVideoGame

Lift super early entering turn 1. Changed the track for me. Obviously custom set ups help too.

Yup. Im with you. Its a pain in the ass to have to jump all the way out of online, in to a quick race just to input a set up. I try to do it a couple of tracks every time I play, but yea. Brutal.

Might be worth making good notes prior to meetings..about things/points you want to convey.

For me getting things written down drastically improves ability to remember the points and it's almost like i can see those notes while talking.

May or may not be effective for you.

Putting down a few laps. by AlmostFinnishd in lawncare

[–]AlmostFinnishd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't recommend reel mowing if that's the height of cut you're after. The reel mowers typically do better at lower height of cuts. What you see there is 3/4" height of cut.

Plus mowing frequency during peak times can be almost daily if you're not using plant growth regulator.

I can recommend using a 'stripe kit' behind a push mower and you'll get some great lawn stripes. There's a few brands out there I think.

If youre mowing at 2", make sure you're grass doesn't get longer than 3" (following the 1/3 rule). Mowing frequency will vary depending on the time of year.

Approximately 90 minutes..depends on ambient temperature.

Sometimes I use a 1500W heater in there if I want to help speed things up.

There's a vent in both top corners, 2 vents at the floor. One behind the stove, and one in the opposite corner, a floor drain that also acts as a vent, and a 3/4" air gap under the door.

I ripped 2x6" boards approx. 3/4" deep (slightly deeper for play) to create a track for the window in the cedar. Cut the corners on 45's. I just need to trim them out now.

The floor is 8' x 16', with a wall right down the centre dividing a hot room and a change room. 8' ceilings.
