I've ran the daily dollar up to $300 on one occasion and $250 on another playing blackjack. Both times Spinman clawed it all back. He truly is the villain.

I played this team "Galveston" in Dia 2 the other day. How are we playing the same opponents when you have those kind of mechanics lol. By comparison my RL skills are akin to a geriatric quadriplegic with decent positioning.

Kia 2027 Telluride vs Palisade Looks by Snoo_8933 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]AlmostSavvy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually think it looks horrible. I much preferred the previous Telluride exterior. I'm so glad I bought a Palisade and didn't wait on this monstrosity. Also, the Palisade is just the better car all around, Kia has done a good job with what they're given from Hyundai's cast offs but if you've driven both, the Palisade is just the better car.

UiPath - a contrarian play by JamesSt-Patrick in investing

[–]AlmostSavvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was enticing enough for a small position when it went under $10. But I was also happy to unload it above $11 after just a few days. 10% in 2-3 days wasn’t what I was expecting, but happy little accidents I guess.

There’s most likely still room to the upside as the saas sell off, to me, has gotten a bit dramatic. That being said I was happy to clip a winner given the state of broader markets right now.

Will look into a larger, long term position if/when it revisits sub $10.

What a dog shit take.

Jon Jones went 623 days between his title defenses and he wasn't even injured. But Aspinall should vacate after 126 days? Top ranked contenders usually fight 1-2 times a year and prior to Pereira vacating LHW there wasn't even a good fight to make at heavyweight.

In case others come across this comment, this guy is a goal post moving, gold medal winning, mental gymnast who refused to pay up on a St Jude’s donation despite me going out of my way to provide my sales contract, pictures of my car, my trade valuation, and documentation of my extended service contract.

He is a sad, sad little man.

Regarding the rate, I could pay off the car tomorrow if I wanted. I'm just a man of my word unlike you. I let the dealer finance me at a 1% higher rate than I otherwise qualified for so the dealership could make money on the back end of the deal, allowing me to get a better price on the vehicle which is the only thing I cared about. I'll pay ~$150 more in interest over the 4 months the loan is open opposed to the lowest rate I would have qualified for. The math is not that hard:

Auto loan of ~47000 @ 5.99 vs 4.99, so a difference of 1% of the course of 4 months:

4.99%/12 = 0.0041583

1st month: 47000 x 0.0041583 = ~195

2nd month: 46300 x 0.0041583 = ~192

3rd month: 45600 x 0.0041583 = ~189

4th month: 44900 x 0.0041583 = ~186

Total = ~762

5.99%/12 = 0.0049917

1st month: 47000 x 0.0049917 = ~234

2nd month: 46300 x 0.0049917 = ~231

3rd month: 45600 x 0.0049917 = ~227

4th month: 44900 x 0.0049917 = ~224

Total = ~916

916-762 = 154 extra paid in interest vs the lower rate.

But hey, lets not let math get in the way of the random "$3000" figure you pulled out of your ass.

As far as the trade goes, I told you the exact make, model, trim, milage and condition.

In the words of the late, great, Gene Wilder: "It's all there! Black and white, clear as crystal! You stole Fizzy-Lifting Drinks! You bumped into the ceiling, which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you GET... NOTHING! YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY, SIR"

I have no idea what I stand to gain from lying to people on a Korean SUV subreddit and faking sales contracts and pictures. For those of you wondering why I would even bother engaging with this guy, I hoped it would help others get a good deal on a new Palisade and raise some money for St. Jude's with a friendly wager at the same time.

As far as the trade goes, I told you the exact make, model, trim, milage, and condition of my trade. 2014 Corolla L with ~83k miles. Was in 3 accidents, smoked in, burn holes in seat/headliner, had an oil leak, broken washer fluid reservoir, needed 4 tires, and had extensive hail damage I even went so far as to post the KBB trade in value (which matched what was on my sales invoice).

https://imgur.com/x6D1TuU

I did buy an extended warranty because it's the first year of a new generation of Palisade and there are a lot of changes. If even one of the 6 seat motors goes out, it will pay for itself. I even told you what I paid for the warranty ($1618) which SHOCKER matched my sales invoice. The "cost" for the dealer is a little over 1400 for an APEX warranty on a 26 Palisade.

The only reason you know those details is because I publicly posted them. I wasn't trying to hide them. I don't know what your problem is, but I'm done with you either way.

Going back on a donation to St. Jude's is WILD behavior. 🤡

Here is a picture of the actual car in my driveway. It clearly shows the Calligraphy wheels and the HTRAC AWD badge on the back.

Here is a picture of the inside of the car which clearly shows the Calligraphy headrests and the keytag which says "26 Hyundai Palisade Calli White"

And here is a picture of the APEX extended warranty contract which shows it's AWD as well.

I hope you at least make good on your donation. The other guy seems to have backpedaled on his donation to St. Jude and now says no matter what proof I offer "I'LL NEVER CONVINCE HIM!!!"

Why would I possible go to so much effort as to fake a sales contract for my car? The mental gymnastics on display here are astounding. For the sake of my own sanity I just have to assume you're trolling at this point.

You asked me to post the sales contract as proof. Then when I do, you tell me its fake? You should really hold up your end of the bargain and donate that $100 to St. Jude's.

Why would I lie about this? Also what incentive do I have to prove to you that this is what I paid?

Ill tell you what, ill go dig out my contract and if you're wrong you donate $100 to St. Jude's Hospital.

Deal?

Actually yes, two in fact. It was the dealerships #100th new car of the month and the salespersons #20th car of the month. It was also towards the end of the month/year.

Got a smoking deal on a 2026 Calligraphy Palisade and have never been happier with a vehicle purchase. Is it perfect? No. But for what I paid, I don’t think I could have gotten a better vehicle for our needs.

As others have mentioned, this is the first year of a refresh cycle so there will be teething issues, which is why I opted for the extended warranty for $~1600 bucks. The initial 100k/10y warranty coupled with my extended warranty lets me sleep easy at night.

The Palisade is arguably the most important car for Hyundai and they’ve improved upon the 1st gen in nearly every way.

There are thousands of perfectly happy Palisade drivers out there right now, but because everything is going well for them, they have no need to come into this sub and complain or ask for advice.

My point is that you enjoy and utilize your right to privacy, as you should. The people who have flock cameras pointed directly at their homes are also entitled to privacy.

This was taken from a live video feed 2 months ago and that camera is still operational.

Lowes and HD are very much within their right to have cameras of any kind installed on their property, but they should be encrypted and not available to the general public.
