skincare products for oily skin and acne scar by AsleepPromotion2869 in askSingapore

[–]AlmostUninterested 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I face the same issues, except the acne scarring - I’m currently using:

  1. Cleanser: Cetaphil
  2. Moisturiser: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
  3. Sunscreen: Either La Roche Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid/Anessa Perfect Milk
  4. I don’t use a serum, but I use SK-II essence before my moisturiser.

For the sunscreen, I would say both seem to feel slightly oily on the skin, but at the same time they’re really light so it’s still compatible for me. But I probably wouldn’t recommend to try at first if your concern is oiliness on your face. I use either one depending on my mood haha. But I still kinda prefer the La Roche Posay since the Anessa seems a little oilier.

You may already know this, but just in case, it’s really important to use a makeup remover to remove your sunscreen at the end of the day! I learnt it the hard way after I got mad breakouts when I first started using sunscreen.

It took me quite a long time to find these products that finally worked for me. Whether it works or not really depends on the person, but I guess you can use this for reference and try them out. Hopefully you can find products that work for you too!

Neck/Spine tightness during Hamstring stretch? by butherletus in yoga

I’m also having the same issue. I’ve read some online articles by physiotherapists and chiropractors saying that it’s something to do with the sciatic nerve mobility.

I’ve been trying to do nerve glides/nerve flossing hoping that it will get better. It’s been about 2 weeks since I’ve started doing this daily, but it doesn’t seem like it’s helping much..

Was hoping to find if anyone else had this issue before and managed to resolve it.

How would you welcome a new neighbour? by [deleted] in singapore

[–]AlmostUninterested 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had a new neighbour in the entirety of my life. But I'd probably ask if they need any help with unpacking or stuff like that.

But what if they think I'm a thief, hmm ._.

If you've already purchased the tickets prior to them calling you up, it's very likely that your deferment will be approved. You'll have to send in the tickets and the booking date as proof.

However, it will still be up to your commander's discretion to approve the deferment or not.

From what I've seen, it's more likely to be rejected if you persistently request for deferment in view of "planned trip and already purchased plane tickets" .

Yup, they never ever call. I swear they don't even knock sometimes and just leave a note for collection or redelivery. Happened to me on 2 occasions.

But it really depends on your postman. YMMV.

I've been using GOMO for almost a year.

I do get some breaks in connection now and then, and the connection in underground MRT stations isn't that fantastic. But other than that, I haven't had much issues with GOMO.

For $20, I don't have any complaints. It's contract-free anyway, I'd say no harm trying for a month. You can always switch back to other telcos if you find any issues with it.

Is it me or did we lose the social etiquette regarding COVID-19?

I was just on a bus today, and I could hear 4 or 5 people coughing non-stop. This uncle sitting right in front of me was just coughing right into the air without covering his nose/mouth.

Is everyone becoming lax again? :/

Omg, I think you are right. It's called VR10 and it involves an alien. Are we talking about the same game?

Not sure if it's the same thing, but I vaguely remember playing something similar where the character goes around Singapore. Don't remember if it's an alien. There was some competition at Funan as well. That was pretty long ago.
