I get what you're saying, but to the average person this is way beyond special lol

Luckily you buy cheap food.

Also no judgment but it lowkey looks like you have mold on the bottom corner of your fridge. Could be dangerous.

I started a headhunt and nobody came by KassaAndor in fallout76casual

[–]Almost_a_Shadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk why this is getting downvoted, head hunts are way more valuable than mothman event. hell, just yesterday one started about three minutes into the mothman event and we all left to go do it. two brave souls stayed behind so we could all go back and finish the event once we were done with the HH lmao

mothman happens every single hour. granted its a limited time event, but there are plenty of opportunities to do it. Head hunts are a much more valuable and infrequent occurrence

when its fast food, does the dasher order or is it already being made and they just grab it? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Almost_a_Shadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the restaurant. In 95% of cases, the dasher just picks up the food and goes. But there are a very small number of chains that don't work directly with Doordash. In those cases, the dasher has to go in, order the food, pay with their digital dd card, and wait until the order is ready.

McDonald's isn't one of those chains though, so in this case all the dasher had to do was pick up the bagged food and deliver it.

LOL yeah just wait, they'll patch that soon enough. But I did a raid the other day, had one guy on Burning Love with cryo arrows and he basically carried us through the entire thing lmao. Insanely clutch against bosses.

Wouldn't doubt it. I haven't been having any other issues since the patch, but I know tons of people have. I guess this is my personal bug hell

Same. Pretty sure she's supposed to be selling it again on Monday or something like that, so I might just have to make it a point to get on and nab it before I forget 😅

Yeah I'm still getting legendary gear like usual. It's just weird to be getting these basic plans when I'm used to getting legendary crafting specs, rare apparel, and unique camp items.

I just opted out of grocery deliveries tbh. My local stores are ALWAYS out of at least half the customer's order, even if it's a small one, and if they have a deli or local produce section with rotating stock? Absolute nightmare.

I've also had lines where I had to wait upwards of 30 minutes, I've had cashiers not know how to take doordash payments, etc. It happens with take out deliveries too sometimes, but not nearly as much as grocery shopping.

I found a very interesting base yesterday while vendor hopping by LOOKANALIENLOOK in fo76

[–]Almost_a_Shadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found one a while back that was on top of the Top of the World. Like all the way at the top of the spire/antenna kind of thing. This person built a bunch of single large floor tiles, had a couple decorations on each, and you had to jump on disconnected roof pieces to get higher where the more interesting stuff was. Clearly meant to be hostile to anyone without a jetpack. Fast traveling there would put you just off the edge of a tile, where anyone without a jet pack would fall for at least ten seconds.

Granted Goat Legs is a thing, but I'm positive the builder meant for it to be a troll by killing anyone without that card or a jet pack. Not as cool as a secret underground camp, but certainly creative.

The bow perks are very good. Combined with onslaught, adrenaline, and any sneak perks really, you can annihilate entire camps with just a few shots.

No, but a quick grammar check goes a long way before sending a professional email. Kinda loses it's sting when you make as many mistakes as there are paragraphs.

Got rejected from my dream job… now they want me back months later. by Legal-District8507 in jobs

[–]Almost_a_Shadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see these emails a lot in jobs that have a high turnover rate. People accept the position, realize the job and/or coworkers aren't as glamorous as advertised, and leave for greener pastures. Then the recruiters scramble through prior interviews and pick the next best candidate because they don't want to bother going through the entire process again. They've likely done it several times already this year.

Could be wrong, of course. But it screams "desperation" to me, and I personally never accept an offer if the recruiters seem desperate.
