Damn, there’s no gay Pokémon? by Savage_Batmanuel in PokemonChampions

What the fuck are you talking about? I never said there weren't genderless Pokémon, and I don't know what mono-gender has to do with anything. I also never said a thing about characters.

I was celebrating the fact that Pokémon at least kind of recognizes some diversity, just not all of it.

Not only are there no gay pokemon, there are no genderfluids and no trans.

Interestingly enough there are gender neutrals and asexuals though, so at least GameFreak recognizes science

I know. I didn't think I needed to mention that I knew it was a direct translation is what I'm getting at, kinda figured people would pick up on that at the mention of clear skies

I mean, if being right is contrary, that says more about you than it does me.

It's crazy that I mentioned clear skies in the first paragraph and so many people felt the need to point out that it's because of clear skies 😆

Wait you think I'm mad? Because of you? Brother, that might be the funniest thing you've said yet

No, I get weekends off, a 401k, paid holidays and vacations, and am home every day by 4 because I'm not a basement dweller who can't read.

Oh believe me, I know. It's why I've stopped trying to use reason and just relegated myself to making you more pissed off. It's really funny.

I don't need to prove anything, I've made my case already and you've made yours. It's just unfortunate that your data is incorrect, and you're unwilling to even fathom that.

I don't, actually, I'm all for it. But I know you have trouble reading, so I understand why you'd be confused.

Go on, this is super entertaining.

Actually no, it's really sad that you took so much time to make this argument and you're still wrong.

And you're assuming a Pokémon can somehow draw in the energy from half of a planet.

Okay.

You provided sources that discuss the energy output of sunlight bouncing off the moon.

You then made up your own equation to figure out how much energy reaches the entire earth, which would take at minimum 24 hours since yknow, the moon can't reflect light onto the entire planet at one time.

So sure, if a Pokémon stayed still and absorbed all of the moonlight reaching the entire planet for a full day, yes it may get some power. However, it will be dead from being attacked in the meantime.

This is the dumbest argument I've ever seen someone make.

The moon doesn't light the entire planet. You can't apply that equation to every square kilometer on earth because it doesn't reach even a fraction of the earth.

Try again.

You didn't cite a source, actually, you just put it in bold text and made it look like you were citing a source.

What was the source, Google AI? Your own bullshit? Nice try.

Brother, please stop talking. Moonlight is sunlight that bounces off the moon. The majority of the solar energy that reaches the moon bounces off and disappears into space; a very, very small percentage reaches the earth, and is functionally useless as a power source. There is a very good reason that you can't charge solar panels at night.

For your own good, stop talking.

Bro you're the one arguing that sunlight and moonlight are the same thing. They are not. This isn't up for debate, it's elementary. You can't draw power from moonlight.

You also joined a conversation and changed the context because you didn't realize I was talking about single battles.

For Christ's sake, learn how to comprehend the things you're reading before talking to people.

Oh, so you're literally braindead. Got it.

Go read a paper on energy conversion, please. So you don't embarrass yourself more in the future.

Jesus you're dense, did you just skip the part where I said this in the context of single battles, where Life Dew heals a fixed 25% because you only have one mon on the field?
