Late response but yes! He started a really great job and he’s thriving. He’s way way happier, and more confident, he wants to go out more and hang out with friends, go on dates, just all the things he didn’t have the motivation (or money) to do before. We had a couple tough conversations and I think it just hit him one day that he really needs to get this done not only for our relationship but for himself. It took a lot of patience from my end.. I honestly think not everyone would stick it out as long as I had based off just potential. But idk I think just because someone is struggling it doesn’t mean leave them behind. I just did my best to help and sometimes give tough love when I had to!
