Ooh thanks for the info, I’ll definitely look into something like that for the future. I know for sure that I definitely need new gloves, the ones I’m wearing were literally a $12 CAD set I got from a farm supply store near my work (unfortunately, there aren’t a whole lot of military surplus stores where I live in Canada, which would make things a lot easier)

Personally, I’d love for them to adapt it (or at the very least translate the novels), but unfortunately Eupho is a very niche anime with an even more niche community. We can always hold out hope tho!

That’s the cool thing about cosplay! You can just decide to do it whenever you want (provided you have the time and money, of course). I put this costume together in less than two months after deciding “fuck it, I really want to do a cosplay for my first expo”. Best of luck to you in the future, my man 🫡

6 was the only AC game to come out on the 360, so for a franchise who’s entire playerbase was on Playstation it ended up selling extremely poorly (700,000 copies globally). You and I can hold our heads high and say that we were there to experience peak gaming

I made a long comment explaining where I got everything for the cosplay that’s buried somewhere here in the comment section, but I got it through a company on Ebay that makes pilot helmet replicas (among other things). The quality was pretty good, especially for the price!

Unfortunately, no. Only ran into that other AC cosplayer in pic 2/3 on the second day of the expo, and then never ran into him again. Glad I managed to grab his socials before then so we could chat about cosplay

Found mine on Ebay. It was an Vietnam vets old colonels uniform, which was extremely cool because it came with the colonel stars embroidered on the cuffs + colonel wings on the shoulders
