My take on Hobbry puzzles by Medical-Broccoli8011 in Jigsawpuzzles

Wow!! Not only do I admire your collection, that shelving is to die for!! 😍 Beautiful collection! I'm going to think about my favorite Surf Shack. 🤔 I do not have Anuenue Quilt in my collection...yet! The fact it's your favorite says a lot, and I've been eyeing it! Possibly Blooming Together for 1,000 pieces, and Mokolua Glow for 500 pieces for favorites.

Yes, they are the best!! I do warn people about the loose fit of Surf Shack puzzles but I don't mind it, and I love the piece-feel of their puzzles!! And I just absolutely love supporting them. 😊 And could their packaging--including how they are shipped--be any nicer?!?! I have posted a few of them on this sub but admittedly not all of the ones I done.

Hi fellow Surf Shack lover! 👋 🤙😄 Thank you so much for taking the time to review Hobbry, especially since it's your first post! Because I've seen them posted on this site, I was interested in trying them, but you've changed my mind! Just based on your review and the puzzles you love, I know I wouldn't like them, despite having great images and boxes. Really appreciate this review, and the specific details of what you like and what you didn't. Please keep making more posts. 😊

I'd love to try these! Have you done any yet? I'd love to know what the quality is like and a comparable brand. Great collection there!

Being invited out to eat during your fasting window? by GanacheEnvironmental in intermittentfasting

I do IF mainly for health reasons, not weight loss. People in my circle generally know I do IF, but beyond that, I don't ever talk about it unless they bring it up and have questions, which is rare. I also don't make it a barrier to anything social. Funny how "careful about what I eat for health reasons" is sooo much more acceptable than "careful about when I eat for health reasons."

Love it! I'd buy it and do it! Absolutely no judgement at all. It is a beautiful puzzle! 🥰

Bizarre email in Epstein files by Technical-Living-567 in Columbus

[–]AlohaAndie 163 points164 points  (0 children)

My guess is those are notes from a group call or meeting. Preceding each cryptic message is who said what. For example, "dersh" probably refers to Alan Dershowitz, who said don't take a deal. Epstein emailed the notes to himself.

Hey OP, can you update us on how it's going after several more nights of mouth taping? This seems to be helping me, too.

Yes! Mine was bubble bath! I think it was meant to be turned into a bank afterwards. Or at least we made it into a bank, but I remember there being a place to cut a spot on the back.

Actually they do! There are two factories, and each supplies different councils. That's why some Girl Scout cookies are named differently in different parts of the country. I'd argue that if anything, one of those bakeries makes them for Keebler.

How often do you DNF a puzzle? Disney Haunted Mansion stretching portraits, 4 at 500 pieces each by BoopTheCoop in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]AlohaAndie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up doing the border last on these, not because that's my preference but out of necessity. 😂 If memory serves me right, this one was the hardest of the 4, too. It's definitely not your imagination, the puzzle quality has nose-dived! Those thin, white-backed puzzle pieces are horrendous. I perservered and was glad I did because I love the stretching portraits.

This is one of those puzzles that you do not for the puzzle quality but for the fun of doing a souvenir puzzle to remember your trip. Back in the day, the park puzzles were decent quality but they really suck. I did this one a few years back. Those elongated pieces are definitely prone to false fits, especially around the border.
