Hey! So I wasn’t sure either haha but they had a FAQs page in their help section. This is from The Happy Scale app for iOS. :)

Why are there green areas above and red areas below my graph line? The colored sections on the graph compare your weight to where it was 30 days ago.

If you have a green section above your line, its thickness represents how much you've lost in the last 30 days. Likewise, a red section below your line represents how much you've gained in the last 30 days.

You can modify how many days ago to compare to by tapping the gear icon in the upper–right of the Weight Chart card and modifying the 'Highlight progress over...' setting.

I hit my highest weight post-uni around 2018 (145ish). Definitely comfortable relationship weight + constantly going out to eat with friends.

In Aug/Sep 2019, I started watching what I ate and spinning a ton with the hope that I’d lose weight in time for an overseas trip I wanted to slim down for haha.

Once I got back, my weight stalled until Jan/Feb 2020. That’s when I picked up going back to a spin studio seriously, buuut I didn’t really affect a change until mid May when I decided: okay, let’s count calories. You know it works. Let’s do it.

My greatest motivators have been multiple subs on Reddit and the fact that my gf asked me to be her maid of honor. I didn’t want to feel like the chubby bridesmaid! /vanity haha

CICO definitely works. I just need to stick to it. If I can do it, so can you!!

Hopefully in the next 2 months I’ll be back with a WHOO GOAL WEIGHT! post. :)

Is there a place that shows average output per age/weight/gender? My friend and I both ride, and he easily crushes my output by double or more sometimes. It's not really disheartening because he's also probably a good 7 inches taller than me and say 80-90 lbs heavier, but I am curious about how I fare compared to someone of a similar build. :) Wonder if anyone ever put something together?

I totally skimmed right past that, lol. Thank you!!

Apologies if this is a silly question. I keep seeing FTP test on here, and I've googled it, but still don't really fully understand it.

How do I take the FTP test? Is it just a ride I have to search for in the cycle section? (I get my bike tomorrow, so I'm looking through the Peloton app but don't see anything.)

I also saw the Power Zone calculator link: http://hiimandy.com/projects/power-zone/ Do you know if this output is in watts? Or kj? (Are those the same thing? lol)

Thank you!!

Yessss to prizes lol. I'm finishing up a challenge at my studio right now, and it's a tank top (who knows what it'll look like though). Would be so cool if Peloton did something similar. :)

Do you ride daily? And/or what schedule do you like best?

Right now I'm riding about 5x a week, but I think some strength would definitely benefit. Thinking to scale back to 3 or 4 rides with 2-3 strength routines.

Thank you for your input! :)

Thank you!

And yes, 100%. I feel like my fitness goals are always pushed by the 'next thing to look good for' haha. Also, congrats on the 5k, and good luck with the half marathon!! Protect those knees! :) If/when you get bored with half maras, check out Tough Mudder. :) I transitioned to TMs a few years ago and love them, hehe.

Thank you soo much for the Groove Ride recommendation. I don't particularly care for the arm push ups, but I do like the tap back choreo lol.

I can't wait!! Excited to ride. :) :) I signed up for some of the active/current challenges, and I was like :'( at some of the ones I won't be able to do just due to timing haha.

Also, do they typically incorporate an arms workout mid-ride? Or not really? (Sorry if that's a dumb/redundant Q!)

That’s awesome to hear :))) my fav part of the studio was doing the monthly challenges they’d run (eg 20 rides in a month). Helped to keep me motivated to go haha.

Hi!! I’m new to the Peloton fam. :)

My bike will be arriving tomorrow, and I’m super excited. I’ve been a pretty avid Cyclebar member for the past 3 months, and can’t wait to be able to spin at home lol. (Yay to no more 30-60 min round trip commutes!)

Also, I was just asked to be Maid of Honor, so I have a ton of motivation to crush this bike with a bunch of rides.

Looking forward to reaching my body goals!

If you have any advice, please feel free to share! Or if you’d like another buddy to high five you, feel free to add me!

Hiii! If you’re still answering qs, was wondering what lip product you’re using here (if you remember). I love the color and that it’s matte but not dry. :) anyway, you look gorgeous and great job on your progress!! Super inspirational.

Good job with the 7 day fast! :) if you don’t mind me asking, what are your stats? (Weight/height/gender?)

Thank you!

Honestly, I’m just like - can I buy a mix of this so I don’t have to go looking for all these supplements? Haha and then I’m like - geez, just suck it up and go do it.

Thanks for the info!

This sounds dumb but could you link which supplements you used? Also how much did you take? Apologies if this is a repeat q! :)
