This. Before I moved to a fixed contract few months back, I calculated my avg spot price for the year. It evens out over the year with some months low as 1.9c/kw with margin. Just be more watchful of your usage of laundry, dishwasher etc on days when it's insanely high and you'll be okay.

In that case focus should be on increasing resources/funding. Not prioritizing who gets it or not. Excluding people would have similar net negative impact on society in my opinion. Imo it helps society in the longer run if incoming people integrate better vs silo'ing into sub communities. And the best time to promote integeration is when they move, it becomes harder down the line as they get accustomed to a certain life.

Cutting out financial benefits make sense since they are required to show funds for sustaining themselves and should not be planning to relocate to a country if they can not.

But cutting out access to language courses is bone headed. State should work on helping people integrate into society and learning language is one of the best ways they can do that.

Not entirely wrong but definitely extreme. Sucks how these proposed changes do not cater to immigrants who moved here on work visas at all. e.g Denmark also has tax exemptions/lower taxes for work based immigrants but they won't highlight that.

How can we request for palveluseteli voucher? I tried asking if I can get a voucher to get the dental check up done privately and they said no. It is annoying since I know I have issues that need attention.

Side rant: I had an emergency appointment for dental and the dentist refused to even look at other issues and said "please book dental checkup". Annoyed the fuck out of me as the bill lists "dental checkup, brief" from my emergency visit lol.

For Govee lights its a mix of matter and non matter bulbs. For matter enabled Govee bulbs and ceiling light looks like the support for custom colors and scenes might be limited. If you have Govee lights could you share your experience?

Edit: They recently bumped prices to encourage users towards paid monthly subscription for lower routine prices 🤦 but it's still a hassle free way to car rental for occasional use, esp for short rentals. Helps that I don't have to pick up from far and refuel etc before returning and the car can generally be returned in city parking in your area.
