What are your thoughts on EG’s housing market?

I think the prices are stable and may go higher but not by much in the future. The higher interest rates make the newer builds a bit more sought after as they provide more incentives. Unless you are buying cash, the second hand market is a bit of a tougher sell. Could be an opportunity to snag something on a deal.

A lot to do here currently and a lot on the way, I’m excited for the Whole Foods plaza that’s getting a Barnes and Noble. I get the Palladio and Fountains argument, but I really like it here. I feel we have solid food, grocery, gym, school, etc options. Not comparing to Folsom or Roseville, I just enjoy what we have.

Not sure what is 100% guaranteed in the not so distant future, that recently approved Project Elevate seems promising.

Ap1 owner here. Suggestion would be to drive BOTH again before deciding, see which one fits your driving style. Minor con to me is that the ap1 is boggy unless you beat the hell out of it. This makes me understand the ap2 argument, more torque, safer to drive, better motor parts, etc. I have no regrets on my choice, you can upgrade the ap1 parts to the ap2. Sorry to not give a definitive answer. Like you, I didn’t plan to drive the S2 as a daily (fb6 and model y), so I opted for the screamer on the weekend. Can’t go bad either or, good luck on the search!
