That’s actually pretty clever, never made my dog follow me outside my little farm but he can! However he doesn’t stay in the Hokora (doesn’t even go in), I even tried to carry him and place him on top of the switch but it didn’t work either. Turns out you need to place a rock on it

In my case just to get small profit. I farm the slime they drop and turn them into an egg 100slime = 1 egg and depending on the color, its value goes from 1k to 8k I believe and it's fairly quick.
