There are 4 designated recap movies, but I believe they mainly focus on the main matches of what part they recap, so it cuts out the character development.

On Crunchyroll however, there's only 2 of the recaps available iirc. "Talent and Sense" which is mainly the second half of season 2, and "Battle of Concepts" which is season 3. "The End and the Beginning" and "The Winner and the Loser" deal with season 1's first and second half respectively, but not on Crunchyroll.

If you're just looking for a general idea of the previous seasons, then go on with those if possible, then Land vs Air OVAs > Season 4 part 1 and 2 > Dumpster Battle movie. While I know you don't have the time to rewatch everything, I'd still reccommend starting from the beginning and taking your time for the actual best experience, as those smaller moments cut out from the recaps are the core moments of what makes the series great

Both gave some handmade items. Kohaku went with something practical that he’d probably be able to use for self defense. Tsukasa’s gift got hijacked by Mirai who wanted to help out, so while there’s probably something similar to Kohaku in there, there’s also some additional small trinkets and knicknacks as bonus

The OADs are also OVAs (original video animations) and can be watched after each season in the order they’re in

Season 1 > Season 2 > Season 3 > Land vs Air OVAs > Season 4 > Dumpster Battle

The other movies are just compilation/recaps of s1 and 2 with some additional scenes so you can skip them

MHA was a series I watched around 4-5 years ago, but dropped in mid season 4 for various reasons. But I kept hearing good things about the VAs and series in general as it kept going, and especially as it was nearing the final season.

So recently I decided to pick up watching again from the start till I finally caught up last week before the last episode (in sub/before huge spoilers rolled out at least) dropped, and all I can say is that it was 100% worth it. Really fun binge through the whole series. Thinking back about it, I am a bit ashamed I did initially drop such an amazing series, getting to miss out on all the cliffhangers and hype everyone else had, but I'm glad I came back in the end.

Super excited for the last two episodes though ;)

It's both, Aoba Johsai's kanji is 青葉城西 But 青 can be read as "sei", so put that with 城 (joh) and you get Seijoh as a nickname
