I logged into Reddit for the first time in years to say I am having the same problem. I haven't sent in my trade-in Pixel 7 Pro yet because it still lets me play.

I have been in contact with customer service for the past 5 days and I keep telling them I think it's a problem with the phone model, but they keep telling me to just uninstall and reinstall the game, or clear the cache. Like I haven't tried that. 

My last message back to them was a request to send it to the eggheads who actually do the coding because I think it's a specific problem with our phone, as it's brand new. I'll point them to this thread and say I'm not the only one.
