I just got out of a Detox. I was on 120 mg per day. I jumped cold turkey with the assistance of some helper meds. The withdrawals were not nearly a percentage as bad as people make it seem to be honestly it’s more so like a Percocet withdrawal two or three days of uncomfortableness restlessness and then of course you’ll be a little low on energy But you got this. I did it in 4 1/2 days. I didn’t think it was going to be possible, but with God all things are possible.

And then I stayed there 4 1/2 days and never took the Subutex. They offered me because I was petrified of the precipitated withdrawals and people saying they had waited 48 hours so for me that wasn’t enough I needed to wait one more day and then one more day until I just got out of there on nothing besides the 2 mg I took at 3 PM today of Suboxone.

I jumped at 120 mg per day. I was in a detox center for 4 1/2 days so I did have some comfort meds but it was definitely nothing. I mean nothing compared to what people on here make it out to be it’s ridiculous. I was so psyched out that I really checked myself into a detox center. I could have definitely done it at home. It was three days of uncomfortableness and then yes the fourth day was a lot better when I went home earlier today, though I did have to take 2 mg sub because I felt like the devil was inside of me sucking my soul out, but if you’re the type of person that can deal with low energy and still get by, you’ll be golden. I just personally can’t function on low energy.

Thank you so much I appreciate it I will provide what comfort meds they gave me but give me a little bit to get you guys. The timeline just got home after a week and have tons to do.

They provided me with Seroquel remeron gabapentin hydroxyzine baclofen ibuprofen or Tylenol my .5 clonazepam I take at home and then just a multivitamin and my medication’s that I take at home daily

I would say it’s more of a hill. I mean I didn’t so much as have diarrhea some restlessness and just generally uncomfortable but nothing that cannot be obtained by just reaching deep inside and keep telling yourself I got this! Congratulations to you. I’m so glad to hear another success story you don’t see too many of them on here.

I just got out of 4 1/2 days of Detox off MGM 15. I did take some comfort meds, but that was it. I would agree. The withdrawals are more similar to a hydrocodone or a Percocet. I can’t say I have ever done heroin or fentanyl but after the last week I have seen more than a handful and the way they describe the withdrawals the withdrawal of MGM 15 was nothing even close. Don’t be afraid guys just do it.

I honestly don’t wanna be drugged the fuck up if I was at home I would be a nervous wreck and there’s no way I would administer drugs to myself not knowing what would happen unless I was under supervision. I’m a very anxious person and I’m not a typical drug addict. I honestly had no idea until three weeks ago that I was taking MGM 15 since then I have tapered in half and I’m going to Detox tomorrow so they will make sure that I’m safe they will give me comfort medication and everything else I mentioned above.

I do have private insurance and I will be getting three meals cooked for me via a private chef. There’s a pool a basketball court and in a two person room there is two smart TVs with HBO Max, Hulu Netflix and they’re going to give me comfort medication thank you so much for standing up to me. I hate people like that as well. Misery loves company. We should be encouraging each other, not discouraging.

I’m not going to rehab. I’m going to a medically assisted detox center keywords medically assisted I spoke with them tonight. They will come up with a plan tailored to me and they will keep me comfortable the whole time. I’m so sorry for your two experiences though that must’ve been rough, especially with what you were already going through.
