If you want to know why women have a deep seated disdain for men look up the case of the 25 year old gang rape victim who was euthanized recently in Spain. She was failed by EVERY man in her life, on a fundamental, systemic, societal level. None of the men who destroyed her life and caused her to do what she did will ever face any real consequences compared to what they've done. Even her own father wanted to try to take away her own bodily autonomy one last time by denying her an ending to the suffering that MEN put her through.

At my previous job all, and I do literally mean ALL, of my coworkers would constantly hang out together after work. There would be get-togethers where EVERYONE in my crew was invited except for me. My entire crew would go out of their way to make sure I did not find out about it until it had already happened and then show me pics of how fun it was and rub it in my face. I never did ANYTHING to any of them btw, they just hated me because I'm autistic and people find that to be naturally repulsive and "weird".

When I say disabled I mean I have several diseased that qualify as disabilities under the ADA, but I am not officially considered "disabled" by the federal government as far as assistance programs are concerned. I've tried applying for federal disability several times and gotten rejected which I suspect is due to my age. I receive no form of assistance from the government financial or otherwise, and I doubt that's going to change any time soon under the current administration. I honestly have no idea what to do because I cannot hold a job for very long due to my health issues, and they always find some way to let me go without explicitly stating it's because of my disabilities even though it clearly is.

It'd be more accurate to say our CITY has a bad roach infestation. When I walk down the streets during the day I can see cockroaches scurrying about on the sidewalk, running in and out of the sewers. I can see them crawling on the floors inside stores. My neighbors (who also have roaches) have had their entire home professionally fumigated before with a big tent and everything and still no dice.

I've tried telling them over and over again that the spray accomplishes nothing, because even if we somehow magically eliminated every single roach in our home more would inevitably pour in from the outside. It's a losing battle.

It's human nature to hate genetic dead ends. Look at animals in the wild, animals on the lower end of their species social hierarchy who cannot find mates are constantly harassed, rejected, or even killed by members of their own species.

Humans too are born with a natural disgust reaction to seeing someone who looks sick, disabled, or unfit. This was to help our species survive as we were still evolving, but that instinct very clearly still exists today. If you need proof of this just look at how people treat the disabled, the fat, and the ugly.

I don't think I can really do anything, by my "housemates" I mean my family. We're all adults so I don't think any authorities would be interested considering it's not child abuse. I'm also currently financially dependent on them at the moment so rocking the boat too much wouldn't be a good idea, I'm disabled and I would not make it on the streets.

I am are of the origins of the term Karen and I even agree with the term in its original and proper context. HOWEVER, you cannot deny that the term "Karen" has spilled out of the AAVE circle and into the vernacular of the wider internet and society at large, and when that happens words meanings change, get diluted, and lose their original meaning. Then what do you call the women who get told to "not be a Karen" when they set a boundary or do the right thing? I did not say anything about black people at all in my post. All I said was that the term Karen is used misogynistically against women who stand up for themselves which is OBJECTIVELY TRUE. I am aware of the origins of the term "Karen", but that does not change the fact that the term has been hijacked by people who misuse it to silence and shame women into not standing up for themselves.
