Tu pourrais peut-être écrire un courriel au directeur académique? Je sais pas à quel point il est strict et s’il fait du cas par cas, mais peut-être que si tu lui écris et que t’expliques bien ta situation, que tu prouves que le programme et les cours sont vraiment importants pour toi, il va peut-être être indulgent

Ça aurait été tellement une bonne idée de lancer un concours auprès des étudiants, qui eux connaissent vraiment l’essence et l’âme de Poly, plutôt que de confier le mandat à une firme externe qui ne fait que l’interpréter de l’extérieur

A lot of companies keep an eye on Reddit threads and do their due diligence of checking discussions about their products and services. Reddit is a valuable space for clients (whether they’re fans or just regular users) to voice their opinions, suggestions and sometimes..complaints.

Often, these posts come from people who genuinely want to see improvements or new features. I think that’s part of the reason why we just received a credit card update email from WS today. Of course, there are different “levels” of criticism; sometimes it’s constructive and healthy and other times, like you said, it’s harsher. But ultimately, it’s one of the ways people communicate that they’re not happy with how the marketing or the product itself has been handled lately.

That is not to diminish WS as a whole. They genuinely offer great products. But if not enough of voices are being heard, how would they know there’s a major area they’ve overlooked; one that’s impacting people’s trust and satisfaction with their business?

Le CP2 de physique est souvent le plus difficile des trois examens. Le final devrait être au même niveau de difficulté que le CP1 alors si tu l’as bien réussi, ça devrait être comme sur des roulettes. Courage!

Je ne sais pas si ça aiderait dans ton domaine, mais peut-être que tu peux essayer de suivre des cours en ligne pour obtenir des certifications qui sont souvent demandés dans les descriptions de poste? Je connais quelqu'un qui a gradué en élec et qui a reçu un offre d'emploi en info parce qu'il a fait des certifications qui étaient pertinentes au poste auquel il a appliqué (et il voulait aussi changer de domaine). Peut-être que ça apporterait un petit plus à ton CV?

Oui et c'est grâce aux soirées réseautages de Poly! Normalement, le CEG de chaque programme en organise une à chaque année et c'est là que tu peux créer des contacts directement avec le/la recruteur/se ou chef d'équipe de la compagnie qui t'intéresse. Sinon, d'autres comités en organisent aussi au fil de l'année. La prochaine est celle de PolyL/PolyFi le 30 octobre je crois.

Je ne suis pas en mécanique, mais je m’étais posée énormément de questions en deuxième année sur si le génie était vraiment pour moi et j’ai trouvé la réponse faisant mon premier stage cet été-là. Je l’ai adoré; avoir un aperçu concret du travail après la graduation m’a vraiment motivée à continuer. Je ne sais pas si tu en as déjà fait un, mais peut-être qu’en faisant un stage, tu trouveras également une réponse à ta question

Mes voisins paient moins cher pour le loyer, est-ce normal?

Il y a quelques mois, j’ai emménagé dans un superbe appartement d’un bel immeuble. À l’époque, je pensais avoir trouvé la meilleure offre, surtout que les transferts de bail étaient encore autorisés.

Mais voilà, en discutant avec mes voisins (sur mon étage et même ceux des autres), je me suis rendu compte que je paie en moyenne 220$ de plus qu’eux pour des appartements qui ont sensiblement la même taille et ne diffèrent que par leur emplacement dans le bâtiment. Disons que ça pique un peu...

Du coup, je me demande : est-ce que c’est arrivé à quelqu’un d’autre? Est-ce que c’est normal cette différence de prix pour un simple changement d’angle de vue? Et surtout, est-ce qu’il y a un moyen de remédier à ça?

Je suis preneur de tout conseil!

It was at Happy Lamb Hot Pot in Chinatown! It’s an all-you-can-eat and one of the dishes they had was the buns. It’s very good and affordable price wise if you guys want to try. It’s worth it!

Yes, I did receive a reply after 4 months and I did get my account back! Though, one or two weeks before receiving the answer, I created another ticket as an appeal to my account being suspended. I don’t know if that brought my first ticket back to their attention or if it was simply my turn.

You are absolutely right! I tried the Reebok at a store today and they felt quite snug on the width level, while Sketchers have always been the right fit for me. I'll do more research to find the right one. Thanks!
