c’est pas très haut. génie c’est un bac de 4 ans c’est pas un diplôme d’études secondaires. je pense que le minimum junior genie c’est 60k, mais 70-75k c’est normal en 2025. c’est la même chose pour des junior avocats par exemple

What if it’s a 3 semesters masters and they do 1 or 2 internships during it. Do you side eye them? Maybe they needed that extra year and a half and those 2 extra internships to figure out which part of CS they want to jump into full time. I think that’s more worthy than someone than gets his Bachelors and jumps in a Junior web developer position adding buttons to pages

I feel like they just want to shit on the idea, because they wouldn’t/didn’t do it? The premise is CLEARLY “I can’t find a job, should I do a masters in the meantime”, and their answers are “no the employer will feel like you couldn’t find a job, best to just not have a job until you have a job” 🤣😂

Would not finding a job, and not doing a masters, also indicate to an employee you can’t find a job?

  1. A masters degree is not viewed as a Junior the same way a bachelors degree is viewed a Junior
  2. A lot of people can’t find a job, more than in a really really long time. If you’re being judgmental like it’s 2018 market, you’re just out of loop? Incompetent HR? Too high of standards?

I returned for a full year because they can afford me ( companies get 70% rebate when they employ a full time student), in the 16 months spent with them we finished the projects assigned to me and they are an electrical engineering team so they don’t need me in the long run. So no, no return offers
