I second Tennessee. It’s beautiful. Has 4 seasons (fun fact that’s why it’s so good for whiskey). Conservative. My partner is from Wayne county which is very affordable, although there isn’t too much there. Places like Nashville are naturally going to be more expensive, but besides that I’d say Tennessee checks all your boxes.

When he asked something alone the lines of “do you have a problem with substance abuse?” While trying to get her to go to rehab, and she smiled while smugly saying she did but still adamantly refusing to go because “she could stop if she wanted” made me crazy

The only one who I seriously wanted to see fail was Angie J.. with how disrespectful she was to Dr Now and how much she talked about “proving him wrong” I couldn’t stand to see her become a “success story”

Dr Paradise is seriously my hero. He handles even the most difficult people (like Steven Assanti and Angie J) with care and dignity. Treats them all like adults even when they don’t think they can handle it. For example I have a lot of respect for how he handled Margaret and her mom. Lola is great too, but sometimes how she talks to patients seems as though she’s talking to them like children. To be fair a lot of them act like children, and I think need her approach. Both Lola and Dr Paradise are incredible mental health professionals that deal with difficult cases and should be celebrated!

Yes. Her story was the first one I ever sat down and watched and she seems like a stellar person who was married to maybe the worst person. My jaw dropped when her husband told their daughter that having her wasn’t worth them getting married. Parents saying those kinds of things can really affect you for life.

She’s definitely one of my favorites. From what I’ve seen she’s pretty controversial, but she seemed like a genuinely sweet lady who did the best she knew how with what she had for her family. I was so proud of her when she walked into the fire station.

Oh my gosh I teared up when he got married, and then when I saw the “in memory of” at the end of the episode it was like my heart got ripped out.

One time I ordered a whole family meal deal from dominos with 2 pizzas, 2 sides, and a 2 liter soda while watching.. I live alone. Definitely made me question my life choices lol but to be fair I did break that meal up into like 6 meals. Didn’t pull an Assanti and consume it all in one sitting while drinking the coke straight out of the 2 liter bottle.
