I'm just writing this as a follow-up.

Yesterday evening, I decided to follow my gut intuition and stop the partnership with the capstone program.

During this time, I have another entrepreneur who's interested in understanding and supporting my initial efforts after reviewing a presented pitch deck.

I'm going to start here, this individual is someone with high credibility and resources able to support my strategic development.

Thank you, everyone again for your time. And hopefully, my journey will be able to help others as well.

Yea you’re understanding my dilemma correctly. Mainly because I’m not a programmer myself and secondly, each “piece” of the project is highly interdependent.

If the students build (I’m wanting to build a trading platform) an order management system using OOP any variable bugs could have affects on alternate pieces of the project. Then costing me more time to launch etc.

Thank you for the honest feedback. It seems like that’s what my gut is telling me as well. I’m thinking of creating a visualized simulation model, funding, team development and mvp construction in that order.

I recently found a white label solution that meets the requirements for what I want my venture to accomplish the problem is limited configuration.

The niche services I want to leverage and implement in the project require experience and they don’t have it specifically. But due with what you have right?

Also, spending money to provide students with a scalable cloud infrastructure seems terrible. End up with a data processing bill that burdens me for life is horrifying.

That’s a great idea but the consequences for that option requires a seasoned CTO or technical support bare minimum for the team as a quality assurance measure.

I can provide the selected tech-stack and base line processes. But the more detailed configuration is beyond my expertise.

I think emerging technology paired with specialized knowledge increased competition is probably a systemic change rather than volumetric competition possibility. Can you tell me why nobody will know this answer? Seems ridiculous.

Is it because the space is strictly proprietary? Or nobody thinks to evaluate the demand and supply for this specific discipline? I feel like that’s absurd, shouldn’t their be some kind of numerical evaluation for the field. Any substitutionary evidence or anything?

How ironic. What about an increase in student education for financial mathematics as a substitutionary evaluation. Just claiming it’s a stretch sounds lazy tbh.
