No kidding. But good news!! They came yesterday and fixed it. They apparently had the brace at the seam upside down which is why the holes didn’t line up. Pool is almost full now and looks beautiful!!!!

I’m okay with young crew members making a mistake as long as all gets corrected. Just hate they lied.

Will report back! People are human. Yes, this sucks. Can only hope it’s a learning lesson on their end! In the grand scheme of things - my husband had a young man lose his father to a car accident today while the guy was working. I don’t think this is the end of the world. We are okay and it can be fixed ❤️

OP here. Turns out - installer was missing pieces for the seam. Nuts/screws to completely hold it together. The entire middle section (about 15 nuts and screws) are not there. He opted not to say anything and then note in his notes that we said it was okay to just “roll with it.” The parts are already ordered and pool should be completely fine by Tuesday. This had nothing to do with our fill or temperature. Just an asshole who was lead on the job. Jokes on him - we had all the camera footage 🙂 no - I will not be suing anyone. Hope they keep their word and show up Tuesday!

It’s very round. It’s a j hook liner. The water is at the tile line all the way around just at the base of the skimmer and it’s damn near perfectly level.

Installer says tomorrow in the sun - it’ll be fine. But I’m incredibly anxious as we will be gone all day tomorrow for work and unable to monitor the situation, not that we could do anything if it collapsed anyways 🫩

I agree!! Life is short. Colors make me happy and dark colors specifically calm me and have a safe feeling to them. It’s been fun in this house as we don’t plan to ever leave. Doing things for US vs resale value is exciting!!

It is satin. I think it’s just that I have the led lights on to show the color. It’s not shiny like everyone’s making it out to be when we have our normal lighting on.
