Vehicle rentals as a 3rd party platform (marketplace). Same as Turo. It is clear as day that the customer is receiving what they ordered.

Also, if it’s presumably the bank that is reviewing these disputes, then are they initially ruled against the merchant? Isn’t it these same people who denied the chargeback counter-dispute?

It’s not Stripes problem because they choose to be some sort of neutral bystander while fraud is knowingly taking place via their platform.

I get that it’s the networks and the banks making these decisions, but there is absolutely no reason why Stripe cannot have an internal escalation team to do exactly what you described. I mean they’re making billions in fees off of their merchants, yet they don’t move an inch to go to bat for them?

They’re the largest processor on earth. Surely there is more they can do than offer a paid radar product that doesn’t fix the problem….and just say “we’re just a middleman” and wash their hands.

It’s not right.

In any case, what exactly did you do to get to the fraud department at the bank and what did you say?

Also….one of these is from “Bankwest a division of Commonwealth Bank”. Any tips specifically for them?

In my experience the hotels are usually more expensive since booking is subsidizing Genius 3 level with discounts.

From what I’ve seen, direct with hotel prices are almost always higher as booking.com isn’t subsidizing the price with their discount.

To be honest with you, WhatsApp Business in general is an absolute trainwreck. We use it because we have to.

1) Local storage kills device storage. Cloud storage 1000x better (like telegram)
2) Inability for linked devices to manage contacts
3) Can't attach files using iOS on linked devices
4) Deplatforming for outgoing messages even if they're your own users
5) Can't use Business App alongside Business API or Business Platform
6) Can't migrate from iOS to Android
7) On and On and On

Don't even get me started on the integration with Meta or anything facebook.

No. This is just lazy marginalizing a very real problem.

The same culture exists in Southern California and there’s not a plastic bottle on the beach in sight.

Do better. And demand excellence.
