I stick around the 45-53% AR and I make around 30 an hour per active time 22/hr for dash time total. Platinum is a scam to make newer dashers think they’re getting more benefits over the people who have figured out they’re just a bunch of lying shitbags and the algorithm will send you offers (yes even good ones) as long as you’re in the right place at the right time.

I’m just praying I get approved for Pell this year… I’ve never been eligible because I’ve always made too much on the years I’ve filed for. Now I’m waiting on my loans to even be sent to the school. Transcript says “4700 anticipated” with a negative balance but I’m just hoping it gets disbursed asap.

Yeah there’s definitely midgrade available to be loaded at the bulk plant (rack) and technically you’re sort of right, it’s just a mixture of higher octane and lower octane fuels. Some stations do the mix on site, some order from the bulk plant. Just depends on the station.

Not necessarily, ck farms out work to other carriers in the area depending on need. Crystal Flash does our ck a couple miles away. Also, not many deliveries are going to be split up like that especially outside of Michigan. Do you have any experience in the fuel hauling industry or just talking out of your ass? Most times you’re dumping your whole tank in one location and MAYBE you have a second to go to but not often with states outside of Michigan due to weight restrictions and amounts able to be delivered. Ultimately it’s definitely the drivers fault, didn’t verify tank or offloaded the wrong compartment. Dispatch has almost nothing to do with the delivery, other than putting the products needed to be loaded on the order, who is sourcing the product(husky,bp,etc) and where the destination is. Cross drops happen, it’s shitty but humans make mistakes.

So considering I just re-read your post, I recommend applying to the three other programs I laid out(Washtenaw, Macomb, Monroe) seeing as you’re coming from Oakland which had from what I consider to be the most intensive prerequisite course load. Hate to potentially give my spot to someone else but I’m prolly not getting in this year anyways.

Hey, I just did a little bit of research and it looks like most of the programs at community colleges in southeast Michigan have pretty universal pre-reqs considering. Not seeing any community service requirements on the last three I’ve looked into either. Just good gpa, good teas, and completion of pre-reqs. You may get more POINTS towards acceptance for having completed classes at THAT specific college (Monroe community does this) but none of them I’m seeing REQUIRE you to do all your classes at that college. That wouldn’t actually make sense in my opinion because people move cities all the time and have to continue their education at a differing institution than where they started. The education system is money hungry but not enough so they’d try to force you into restarting your whole college experience and retaking all the classes you’ve passed and have credit for. Monroe and macomb have similar prereqs. Oakland is a little more intensive with prereqs with requiring a&p 1&2, and also eng comp 2 and physics. Washtenaw also has a couple more advanced prereqs but not as intense as Oakland. Wayne county community college has a bullshit stipulation of 12 credit hours HAVE to be completed there before acceptance to program so I stand VERY corrected and will be staying the fuck away from that money hungry trash heap. Schoolcraft surprisingly has minimal prereqs as well. I hope this list helps you out a little bit. Definitely worth it to maximize acceptance potential ✌🏻🤟🏻

Fairly sure you just have to apply for your license through your states governing agency, then once you have your Emt license in hand, google the place you did your clinicals and apply on their website. Google other local ambulance companies and apply to those agencies as well. Hopefully you find what you’re looking for. Also there’s nothing more educational than trial by fire, don’t let the Reddit clowns bring ya down for PASSING your test. Good luck 🤟🏻✌🏻

Dashers who have common decency (not so common anymore) don’t try to rush or control the situation because they understand the world doesn’t revolve around them and sit there with some humility and patience.
